Applebee's

Now, my 5 stars are for accommodation and service. We were a party of four and asked for secluded seating,which we got, throughout our entire meal. Also, our server was extremely attentive to our needs, which we deeply appreciated. For the most part we were satisfied with the meals, the only exception, my wife and I think they way over salt their food. I would much rather taste the food rather than salt. Applebees seem to be a family-friendly restaurant and my only concern was the over salting of the food.

Normally is adequate.. however this is 2 times in a row now I have waited over 20 mins past pickup time for order. This time though, no one ever came out, so I ended up going inside, asked for my order by name, to I believe a manager, ( blue shirt) he directed me to an associate whom gave me my order that was well at room temp and not another word was said so I went on my way. I would have rather put all this into the survey email, but the only comment section was what did they do to resolve the issue, so was nothing. Which leads me to believe that no one reads them anyways. Maybe I should have said something while I was there but was picking up order on way home from work and was to indifferent feeling about the whole ordeal. Other than that it was the typical food and the order was correct per usual.

We have eaten at Applebees,s before and enjoyed it in our home town. This one was very different. We had a birthday dinner for 8 with our daughter and her family. First of all we gave our server a break by not challenging her on your policy of a free appetizer if she did not ask about a gift card. After we finished our meal we left our leftover food in 3 full containers. We called 6 minutes later only to find out that they were thrown out. Can’t believe it. 6 minutes. Will never be back or recommend this restaurant to anyone ever. I hope someone reads this. P.S. my daughter was a manager for Applebees for 17 years and never had anything like this happen to her
