Excellent lunch with family from out of town. Loved the homemade marinara sauce. My husband enjoyed the baked ziti, the kids enjoyed the ravioli, and I had the spaghetti carbonara. We highly recommend this establishment.
We enjoyed a solid Italian meal here with a large group of people while visiting UCF. The service was excellent and they were extremely accommodating to our large party. I would recommend this restaurant.
I have been going to the UCF location for ten years. Giovanni's is a restaurant that does a few things very well. Their fettucine alfredo with meatballs are excellent, and the pizzas are worth the wait. However, they are inconsistent in the kitchen, and the staff seemingly has no passion for service.
Excellent!. Based on the reviews I thought it would be just OK. Instead it was wonderful. We had Eggplant Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi. Both were generous, fresh and delicious. So were the fresh warm garlic bread, and the house salad with basil Italian dressing. Our service was prompt, friendly and professional. We will be back!
The veal Marcella was the best I ever had! The veal and angel hair melted in my mouth. Maybe the best pizza in town. Try this place!
Giovanni's is Great for Lunch. One of my favorite lunch spots in the area! On the busier days, the service is understandably slower but, generally, I've gotten quick and friendly service.
Meals are delicious without being too greasy. It can be hit or miss, like the time my husband ordered chicken marsala with way too much wine in the sauce, but overall, I've been happy with the food there.
Try the Salad. I love getting the warm chicken salad. It is lettuce, with warm chicken and balsamic vinegar. The garlic bread is great too!
Great food. Get the daily special and it will be an even better value.
This is a very nice place to stop if you want authentic Italian.
We used Giovanni's catering for our Holiday party and have nothing but positive feedback to give. Carley and her team served our team so willingly and made sure appetizers were served, our food was fresh and warm to maintain quality. The ordering process was seamless. Carley did a great job with providing me options for the menu and revisions to the invoice as we added items etc. I can not recommend Giovanni's catering enough!
This place is Amazinggg! The food, atmosphere and service was Outstanding! We were greeted with a Smile and Tina our server went Above and Beyond! We had to eat and run and Tina and the staff accommodated us so we would not be late to our son’s graduation! We will be back!!
My husband and his family enjoy coming here any chance we get! We usually always have attentive service and usually no issues.
My husband and I love the appetizer Pizza Bruschetta , so yummm. Ask for a container of their balsamic reduction to spread on top!
The only thing we've ever thought negatively is consistency? Sometimes we come in and for example the appetizer has too much oil. Then on the next visit barely any tomato/basil. Then the next visit barely any mozzarella and soggy dough but perfect amount of everything else. Everything still tastes great but it's really our only complaint is sometimes the consistency seems off?? And it's only sometimes, not always.
But with covid these last few years, new managers/staff. We're very understanding and our last few visits have been top notch! We really love this place.
A long-time favorite for our entire family. Entrees are a bit pricey but delicious (love the Chicken Marsala!) and the house salad, garlic bread & stuffed pizza are top notch. Service can be slow when it's busy, but is always attentive. Warm and cozy - always a treat!

Like to give kudos to the catering department and front desk customer service personnel. The food was plentiful and great in taste. We ordered the egg plant Parmigiana with salad & bread for party of 10-12. They supplied all the plates and utensils. With a very friendly greeting and help in the food delivery to our car. I highly recommend the Giovanni catering group in Oviedo for your family events.
Been going here for years, but service has been better than ever under new ownership & management. Food is great every time! & I love that I can buy a bottle of their AMAZING salad dressing every time I go in
We recently had Giovanni's cater our engagement party and all I can say that it was nothing short of AMAZING. Do NOT hesitate on having them cater. We loved them so much, the food and staff were outstanding. Hopefully for my bridal shower we can cater them as well. Carley and the head chef Tony made everything a breeze. Thank you so much guys!
Great place, great setting. Service was awesome, and quite attentive. Food was perfect, and the Italian dressing was amazing. Ended up getting a bottle to take home ($8 I think) it's thick, savory, and house-made. Perfect for date nights or family gatherings. Highly recommend the calamari (you get a lot for $10).
Great food, love the garlic knots and pizza. It is so delicious. It was also easy to order. I went online and ordered food, simple to navigate. Then I had several options to pay including through PayPal. I then received text it would be ready in 15min and text when completed. Then I went in, grabbed it from employee and left. So simple!!
