Sushi 99

The atmosphere was delightful. We came at 7 PM as a party of 5 and were immediately seated. Our waitress was immediately taking our drink order and had already brought us soup. She was very, very helpful and explained the sushi combos to my children. The prices were very reasonable and I recommend everyone try this great little spot.

I have dines at many sushi places. This one is a quaint little place in a plaza, but what a GREAT find. Service was wonderful, the two ladies were very attentive, keeping our drinks and table cleaned off of extra dishes. Started with the tempura shrimp and vegetables, perfectly cooked and hot when they came out. Steamed Gyoza were perfect and tasty as well. Half the table had steak fried rice, with steak being large chunks and cooked to requested temperature. Other side had sushi and it was delish. Plates came decorated with editable paints and rolls were fresh and delish. One roll on the plate with the bamboo was the volcano roll, which is very spicy. If you are looking for a tastebud kicking with spice try this one. The other plate with fish drawn on was a Crazy roll sushi as well as an order of Fancy Dragon. Both were delicious will definitely order again. One final thing, they brought out a Holiday roll for us to try.... OMGoodness it was so freaking good. Krab stick with cream cheese and deep fried with a tempura batter I believe. Get it or maybe they will bring you a free sample as well.
