We went here the night before our cruise was set to leave. Amazing food and service! The owner was so friendly and helpful. I can say enough good things about this place. Its definitely a hidden gem. I had the brisket and my husband had the short ribs. Both were tender and seasoned well. We didn't even use any sauce. We had cupcakes as our dessert and they were the best I've had in a long time. We definitely recommend and will return on our next trip.

Love this family-owned foodie spot! Little Mattie is a great host, and the menu is simple but delicious! Sandwiches, Lil Foodie plates (meat and a side), Big Foodie plates (more meat and 2 sides), seafood trays (for solo and group efforts), and AMAZING baked goods (the Pineapple Concussion was like a delicious Piña Colada cupcake)! Indoor and outdoor patio seating, right at the Port! There are some great restaurants in the Cove @ Port Canaveral, but Ludz is joining the rotation! UPDATE: Mattie's Delectable Deserts needs to be your new cheat day! Every cupcake is better than the last! Loved the Mango, Little Mattie!

We found this place 30 minutes before closing on 7/29/23. We were looking for something sweet out cruising on our E-Bikes. I google desserts and this came up. We zipped right over and boy were we excited. Homemade cupcakes and they had amazing flavors. I had the Coconut, We also had a slice of some amazing Key Lime Pie, and we took back to our RV a Chocolate Chip cookie and a sugar cookie. The owners Mattie and Peter were so nice and genuine. Most restaurants just shove you in and move you out, your just a number, and all the food is the same. They have been in business for 30+ years in southern Florida and at this location since January of 2023. The best part is they also serve Jerk BBQ Ribs, Pork, Brisket, Shrimp, and Blue Crabs. We shared our experience with Blue crabs and they brought some out that are locally sourced to show us how big they are. We told them we would be back tomorrow for lunch. We came back on 7/30/23 at 330pm as promised. I got the Jerk Beef Ribs, that just fall off the bone, and they have great flavor not too spicy, and are very moist. My wife wanted the Blue Crabs, we ordered the Blue Crab tray, lol She wanted 1 Crab and 4 came out, with corn, potatoes, and 4 pieces of Garlic bread. Don't worry they all got eaten. I ate 2 and she ate 2. They took the time to explain exactly how to open a blue crab and break it apart so that you don't miss the meat. I would have tossed 50% in the trash if they did not share the secrets to getting all of the meat out. Then for desserts AGAIN! I ate the Lemon Fusion cupcake and my wife had the Chocolate Truffle cupcake. They did not disappoint. If you are in the area please stop by and give this small mom-and-pop shop an honest chance and provide you with some GREAT Jerk BBQ and very Unique and tasty cupcakes. We will for sure be back. Where do I start! My husband and I stumbled on this place one late night looking for dessert and we hit the perfect spot. Cupcakes are 5 stars! Unique flavors, baked to perfection with incredible frosting. We each had one and 2 large cookies to go. The owners are incredible people who truly care for the taste and quality of the food. The next day we came back and my hubby had jerk ribs and i had a blue crab platter with huge meaty crab spiced with corn, potatoes and garlic bread. Coleslaw is to die for too! Then of course two more cupcakes. We enjoyed a few hours talking with foodies at the next table and the couple who owns the place. You must go if you're in the area.
