Captain D’s was my grandmother Mary’s favorite restaurant in Leesburg Florida it’s still there!! That’s why I go to the only one in Orlando close by me!! I would recommend to go early because the cook in the mornings is excellent!! The breading don’t fall off the new big fish is delicious when it’s cooked correctly!! However I had went one late afternoon with attitude customer service!! I ask for the big fish meal with a extra piece of fish two chicken tenders and added the shrimp for 1.99!! Okay the fish wasn’t freshly made but the problem was the shrimps was greasy and old and the batter from the chicken literally peeled off!! I sent the shrimps back and did you know they gave me the same shrimps 😡😡😡😡😡😡!! I waited for the next day because it’s more friendly in the mornings and the manager is a hard working father that has excellent customer service!! He took back my old food replaced and cooked it his self I was very happy!!

It's always a good place to hit up on the way home for dinner. The food is always hot and good for a fast food establishment. Only once so far have my order been wrong. The person at the window over the years have been 50/50 they either truly care or don't. The last time, the young lady was exceptionally. She caught that the order was wrong, corrected it, while smiling and being professional the whole time.

We love us and candy. Oh my God I love their fried chicken with malt vinegar and their fried okra. Oh my gosh I can eat it every day. I think I did for a while for a couple months as really really good. The prices aren’t too bad either haven’t gone up too mucha good place. I love it and I go there now cause I don’t go every day anymore.

My boyfriend and I came to this location for dinner. Overall, the food was great, especially for the price we paid. I got the Garlic and Herb Shrimp - it was $5.99 for 6 shrimp and 1 fish strip plus two sides. The shrimp was good but the fish was excellent. My boyfriend got the fish and chicken meal, which also came with two sides for $10.99. The chicken and fish were perfectly crispy! Also, the service was great, the cashier had a great sense of humor and was very welcoming!! The other staff were friendly, too. Highly recommend!
