Tortas El Rey

The restaurant they just bought it off a checkers and you can tell but it's okay because it's better than the checkers. The price is fantastic and the cashier was very nice. I ordered the Carne asada, Al pastor, Cabeza, and Chorizo. The Cabeza here is good if you want that. My least favorite was the Carne Asada as it was basically all fat so if you like chewing on fat and feeling it in your love handles I highly recommend it. I also got an agua fresca of jamaica which was tart but very sweet. My friend got Horchata. How dare he do that when I wanted it cause I tried his and it was so good. Anyways. He also got a torta which he enjoyed but be sure to eat it fast because it gets soggy.

I haven't been here for years. Not much has changed. The food is delicious, but the service could level up. The food took a while to come out. It was worth the wait the flavors were on point. The sauces were amazing. If I'm craving Mexican food and I was nearby I'd go back. Otherwise it was just ok 6 out of 10.

Tacos were good. Came from Dallas and was looking for authentic Mexican tacos. This were the best I found. Carna Asada were delicious. Tostadas…I really think they need to work on their salsa. Needs more flavor and to be more spicy. They are definitely not cheap on their meat. My advice, eat this tacos fresh hot. I recommend if you are looking real mexican tacos.
