Above average pizza and subs. Slow service. Side of olives was huge!

Sal’s is one of the best places to eat in all of Universal. Their pizza is very tasty and we loved the crust. The pizza paired very nicely with the wedge salad. Highly recommend.

Not a bad place at all for a quick lunch while at the hotel. Outside seating overlooked the water gives a feel of Italy. Wood fired pizzas, sandwichs, and salads. Not overpriced either. A 14" handmade wood fired pizza for $20? What more can you ask for?

While enjoying our stay at Loews Portofino at Universal Orlando, we decided to give Sal's Market Deli a try for some pizza and sandwiches! We ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza, Garlic Breadsticks Pomodoro, and another member of our party ordered a Chicken Parmigiana Sub with a Side Caesar Salad. Everything was freshly made to order, tasted fantastic, and came in good portion sizes. The breadsticks had a very slight crunch on the outside and were warm and perfectly chewy on the inside. The chicken parm Sub was enough for the person in our party to take half back to the room, and the pizza was perfectly sized for two people to split and have a few slices left over. The atmosphere is quaint and the service was friendly!

Pizza was decent. Service was really good. Very convenient when staying at lowes portofino bay hotel, it's 1 of their restraunts on site!

As a Central Florida resident, my husband and I are always keen on exploring areas and trying new to us food. Today, we decided to give Sal's Deli at the Portofino resort a try. We got the veggie calzone which was large enough to feed both of us. It cost the same as the calzone at the pizza place around the corner from our house. Unlike the one around the corner from our house, this one was STUFFED with veggies. The red sauce that comes with it was also amazing, and I am not a red sauce fan. Yes, you have to actively choose to come here, but once you're in City Walk, you can take the free water taxi (yes, they're free to everyone in City Walk) or walk the garden trail that exits out on the Universal Studios side, but it's worth it. As is just visiting the local resorts when you get a chance.

This place is a hidden gem amongst so many other choices at Universal Orlando resorts. I'm from NJ and for me it is very difficult if not impossible to find brick oven pizza that is worthy to recommend to friends and family let alone write a review about. Sal's pizza is Worthy. Price is extremely fair considering you're at a theme park resort and outside of the pizza they have a huge assortment of beverages and deli items. We almost always get the Farm Pesto pie. Trust me you'll appreciate this place!

Such a hidden gem, fun and authentic decorations with amazing food. TRY THE ANTIPASTO SALAD. So good, with fresh high quality ingredients and a large portion size. Italian sandwich is excellent as well with superb meats and fillings as well as great bread accompanied by olive oil. Service was a standout as well, super friendly and attentive staff. We'll be back, even during park days to grab a better lunch!

Pretty good. I tried the chicken parm sandwich, Cesar salad and small pizza. Ordered at 930pm on a Saturday. Had a 45 minute wait. Eehhh it's busy was expected I guess. Got the food. Great portions. The sandwich was big enough for 1 big man or 2 kids. Great size. Tasted very good. Fries were very crunchy and tasty also👍 the small pizza was good for even 1 adult. The staff was busy cleaning up the restaurant. Organizing. Just the person at the front counter taking the order was a bit dry. Guy seemed not too personable. But other than that it's really good if you have kids and just want something quick to grab and eat in your room.
