You guys!!! This was our first time and we will definitely be back. Our server Gareth went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and took great care of us. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Food- OMG stellar!! We ordered The fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and our entrées consisted of the shrimp and grits and the braised short ribs. Flavors were on point. We left satisfied and very impressed. Ps.. if you like whiskey... this place is your jam!
Awesome unique food, friendly staff and great casual atmosphere. Our first time experience will definitely bring us back for more! A great place to eat and hang out with family. Thanks to Kevin and his attentive staff.
This place was recommended by a friend and we're glad we checked it out. It's a 30's themed small restaurant with fresh cooked food. Although everything is from scratch it did not take long for our food to come out. I got the chicken fried chicken which was excellent. It's one of the less expensive items on the menu and was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The flavor was excellent and green beans that came with it were some of the best I've ever had. My wife is gluten-free but since it's all from scratch there were options an it was easy to make modifications. She got the fish which she loved. The only let down was the tater tots appetizer which was more like hash browns. Might have just been an off night. Friday nights they have some live music which was fun. Although the place is a little pricey we thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommend you check it out if looking for something fresh and unique.
Outpost has been in College Park for over a year and a half now. Somehow, I just managed to get there this week. Why haven't I been to this place sooner? The layout of the casual dining room is small but cozy. There are rustic details throughout the space which teeters on shabby chic and vintage. Either way, it wasn't over the top and the small tchotchkes here and there weren't overt distractions from the feel and vibe of the place.
Delicious American foodie level dishes. Loved the short ribs and my husband's meatloaf. Great atmosphere and amazing price for what we received.
Wow. This place is a perfect addition to the Orlando area.
The night was an experience.
The owner and server showed us genuine southern hospitality.
The food was delicious and filling. And at a very reasonable price.
The owner stopped by a few times to say hi and even gave us some free samples of their new vanilla ice cream with candied bacon - all made in house
Also the owners wife decorated and designed the place. She needs to go pro or something, it's beautiful. A nice modern southern feel.
Well definitely be back
A fairly new restaurant on edgewater drive. It fits right in with the neighborhoods 50s theme as the menu is tailored to what was served in the 50s. Interior decor was nicely laid out and the ambience follows. All their food is locally sourced and never refrigerated. In fact, the only thing that is refrigerated is the ice cream. An impressive selection of craft brews. The fried grits were great. I had the hamburger and it was made perfect to my liking. The chicken salad sandwich looked good as well. This will become a neighborhood staple I am sure.
Spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good 8.4. The only problem is the breading didn't adhere to the entire piece. A chunk of the top bun was a bit hard. The ketchup tasted house made. The sauce on the chicken was fantastic. The fries however may have been the best I've ever had. The fries were an easy 9.8.
Went on a Sunday evening. No wait. Service was excellent. The Pig Wings appetizer is delicious! You have to order it! So good! Burger was cooked medium rare which is what I ordered. Definitely will go back.
Picked this restaurant for a random date night based on a recommendation we saw on Facebook, and we enjoyed every moment of it! From the time we walked in everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We made reservations earlier in the day and when we arrived we were told that they would be closing the kitchen early due to one of the chefs having a family emergency but they were waiting for us to arrive and order before shutting down. We were very appreciative! Our waitress Ariel was AMAZING! She was the best at giving her honest opinions about her favorite dishes. You could tell she truly enjoys what she does. We took all of her recommendations and ordered more than we anticipated just because she made everything sound sooo good. And she didn't lie! The pork belly burnt ends on top of the jalapeño cornbread was my favorite. It was delicious!!! We also had the steak toast and the empanadas. The empamadas weren't my favorite but the toast was very good. My husbae got the braised short rib and I had the meatloaf wellington for entrees. Presentation was amazing and the taste was even better! Both were very good. Everything was so good we couldn't not try their dessert. We got the salted caramel popcorn cheesecake to go. I didn't care for the popcorn itself but the actual cheesecake was very good! We can't wait to visit again and try the birria tacos that Ariel bragged about so much Lol. This is definitely now one of our go to spots!
Absolutely delicious food!!! The service was spectacular as well. Our wait staff was extremely attentive, informative, and helpful in pointing us in the right directions. Although, everything we had was extremely tasty. So I don't know that she could have pointed us in a wrong direction. Knob Creek was there doing a tasting and give away, so that was a great means of killing time while waiting for our table. Also, it was Bite 30 and Outpost was participating. What a great prix fix menu. Again, everything was delicious!!! We will be back for sure.
Sooo many gluten free items!! Incredible! And so delicious. The southern cooking I’ve missed!!! Everything is made from scratch!!! I will be returning!
Had a reservation for outside since we had our dog with us, but finding a table seemed to be difficult for the staff. The server we had was by himself so the service was fairly slow. However, quality of food was AMAZING though. Definitely recommend for a good brunch. Planning on going again for dinner to try their regular full menu.
Fantastic restaurant at the corner of 17-92 and Horatio. Food looks Amazing and tastes amazing. Wait staff was super friendly and on point. The owner was super friendly stopping by to check on everything. If you haven't stopped by to eat here, you are missing out. Can't wait to visit again. Great atmosphere and decor. A true gem in Otown. I don't give many 5 stars but well worth it..
The food was good, so were the drinks. If you are a peanut butter fan get the peanut butter pie 😊 we had the shrimp and grits and steak toast were cooked too perfection.
Oh, oh, oh. The food, Service, ambience/environment is over the top. Many was our server and she was awesome and down to earth and the owner gave me some greens to try and they taste like they was from my deceased Grandmother’s kitchen. All of the food was good and I had a drink called penicillin and they wasn’t stingy, if you know what I mean. I’m so glad I bumped into this place. Everything is organic and made upon order. I had the mushroom toast, seared scallop main dish, and was given some collards to try. I’m am instantly sleepy lol. Definite fulfilled. I took photos of me and my friends plates. I devoured the mushroom toast before the pics. Sorry
My husband and I had a great experience here. Great staff and a very interesting menu!
We decided to go with their magical dining options that included the tots and stuffed poblano peppers (so good)! Our entrees were their ribs and the seafood dish - both were very good. Also pictured is their side of collard greens (pretty heavy in the bacon flavor).
Dessert was wonderful - I got the blueberry bread pudding and the cheesecake- both great!
