Sweet Tomatoes

Sweet Tomatoes is a bright and cheerful place to eat a mostly healthy meal. The staff is very friendly . They do a great job in making sure tables are cleared for your seconds and third —😬even fourth trip back through the buffet. The salad bar is also kept clean as patrons graze through. The soups are made from scratch. I tried both the French onion and Kettle chili, both were hot and yummy. Russet and sweet potatoes are offered. The cheesy garlic bread was scrumptious. The theme of this salad establishment is carried through even to the carpeting which has a tomato on vine design. The men’s bathroom was clean on this visit. Clean bathrooms tell a lot about the overall care of the entire place. The fruit bar offers a limited selection, yet interestingly chocolate mousse makes its home here 🤣. As always, the service and staff was excellent. The food is fresh, and their blueberry muffins are delicious and unbeatable. If I could I would eat there everyday, since I'm addicted to the salad options and their house made honey butter. I highly recommend this place, and the one in Altamonte Springs. The atmosphere is family -friendly, and there is something for everyone.

It's over an hour to visit Sweet Tomatoes so we always make sure to go when we are in the Orlando area. I love the great salad bar and the many options available in salad, soup, and breads. The strawberry lemonade is one of the best I've tasted. Our most recent visit they were very busy but did a great job of keeping things filled and fresh. A great place for an easy lunch or dinner.

I took my mother here during Mother’s Day and we had a really nice meal. I’m leaving this review because we noticed how effectively and professionally the staff and manager performed during the holiday. The restaurant was filled and the seating was limited due to the volume of customers, and the manager was out and directing the flow of customers to make sure that everyone had a seat and the traffic was handled. He was ensuring that tables were cleaned and that there was enough seats for everyone. The staff was super friendly and our dishes were bussed very fast. We were not rushed out and were really welcomed. The food was great you could tell the cooks were working hard to keep the food coming. I would definitely recommend this place its family friendly, the staff really care and the food is great.

Been taking the family to this location for several years. The staff is always friendly, and the place really clean. Never had anything that didn't taste fresh. If you've never been to Sweet Tomatoes, the real winner there is the soup. They usually have 6+ soups available and they're all made fresh. It's definitely my favorite part of eating there.

I love this chain, although this is the only location I've ever been to. The plaza it's in looks sketchy, but inside the restaurant is very nice. They have the best soup and fresh salad. Everything is consistently fresh each time we come. They change up their dishes a few times a month so that you have new things to try every time you go, which is great. If you sign up for their email, you get good coupons which I recommend using because $12 for dinner buffet is a bit steep for a place that's 90% just soup, bread and salad.
