Always an outstanding experience. Today our server recommended the blackened swordfish and it was sublime. Even the small desserts were excellent, affordably priced, and hit the spot. Every time we visit I’ve sampled a different entree and I’ve never been disappointed.
I found the food very good. I had the fisherman's platter. Fish, shrimp, oysters and calimarie. All cooked up nice. I traded the fries out for a salad.
One of the few places inside Universal where you can sit down an eat a decent meal thats NOT burgers, fries and other garbage. The Salmon Salad and the Clam Chowder had was great, but beware of the fish tacos. Our server Tiffany was excellent!
Fresh Seafood. I enjoyed this place for lunch with my son. We were seated outside on a beautiful day. We had friendly service and timely delivery of food and drink. After reading some other reviews, maybe it was because we were there at 11:30 and the crowd was not bad. In any case the blackened Mahi Mahi was awesome with spring vegetables. It was fresh and presented very attractively. I would go back. Just saying! -TK
Nice place. Had lunch.. While in Universal Studios, we stopped for lunch. The reviews we read we all positive and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is really nice. They actually serve bread which is pretty classy and rare for lunch. My wife ordered the fried shrimp basket and I ordered the cod sandwich. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Service was also very professional.
Lombard’s is considered USF’s fine dining restaurant, although it is really quite casual. Besides the fresh seafood, Lombard’s centerpiece is a huge saltwater aquarium in the middle of their dining room–if you have children in your party, ask for a table close by.
The food is great. I had the Fisherman’s Basket and it had everything I needed. It was fried but had a lot of flavor. I also had the spicy shrimp as an appetizer that was amazing but the portions were very very small. I took 1 star off because pricing and the portion size of the appetizer. Otherwise, this place is worth checking out. The atmosphere is nice, but I took 1 star off because of the upkeep. The place could use a little TLC for the cost.
We had our thanksgiving dinner at Lombard's in Universal. As soon as you enter you experience the traditional welcoming elegance. We had a nicely located table, and could see the view outside. It was not as busy as we had expected. Service was excellent, with a very cordial server who was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and advised as well. We ordered two " thanksgiving platters" not particularly memorable, the clam chowder soup was very good, so was the garlic shrimp with focaccia appetizer. The fish and chips were good, and the mahi mahi tacos were excellent. For dessert, we had pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate cake with a very good cappuccino. Except for the holiday dinner, the other dishes were excellent. Next time, we could order the specialty dishes. All in all a good memorable family holiday meal.
Atmosphere and service was wonderful. The restaurant is is beautiful with a lot of hard wood and overlooks the water. The food was good, but hard to truly judge since we only had the Fisherman’s basket and Fish & Chips which is why I am only giving a 4 star. Our server, Kathy was great and friendly.
We were impressed with a service, very rare when a chef comes out just to ask visitors how the food is! Really enjoyed our dishes and atmosphere. Our waitress Gabi was just a sweetheart ❤️
Very pricey. Food tasted ok. Nice atmosphere. You’re basally just paying to sit and rest in a nice atmosphere but just don’t expect too much from the food.
Decided to give them a try inside Universal. They were good with service and food. Took a little time (20 minutes) to get the main course. We tried marinara pasta for kids, lobster roll, ceaser salad with grilled Chicken and veggies pasta. Veggies pasta had a little bit of a bad after taste and would probably not order it.
We didn’t make a reservation and just walked in and it was plenty of space. Everything we ordered was good. Actually the food was good considering that the restaurant in the park and usually you can’t expect good food in the attraction parks.
The service was great .
Was at Universal Studios enjoying the park and decided to have lunch here. We sat down and enjoyed fish and chips accompanied with a broccoli slaw. For drinks my friend ordered a bloodymary. I had a glass of rosé wine. Lunch was served quickly we were out in an hour. April our server was informative and pleasant. I caught an error in the bill and was fixed easily. Will definitely return if I am in the area.
Let me tell you ! We walked in running away from the rain and I’m so glad we did . It was so worth it. Everything we order was DELICIOUS! We started with some cocktails (expresó martini and a margarita ) also for appetizer we had the edamame. I order the catch of the day blacked salmon 🤩 and we also had the mahi-mahi tacos , wow ! So good! I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.
We needed a sit down to get out of the heat and eat lunch, and Lombard's delivered! We were starving and were able to get a reservation for an hour later, so walked around some more with growling tummies until it was time. They had our cell phone to call us when the table was ready, but we returned early and were able to be seated.
The inside was beautiful and delightfully air-conditioned! We sat right next to the fish tank which was super cool.
Daniel R. took care of us and did a wonderful job. Our waters never went empty enabling us to hydrate on a hot day.
The food overall was very good and prices were reasonable for a seafood grille in the middle of a theme park.
Before lunch we were talking about about returning early to our hotel, but after our delicious meal and cooling rest, we were all ready to remain at the park and enjoy ourselves there for several more hours.
Well done, Lombard's!
