This is wins my affections for the best tasting fried chicken! I chose well on this splurge. Crispy, hot, signature seasoned chicken. Those cajun red beans & rice were worth the trip alone! This location was convenient to the airport. Check out their snack boxes, those nuggets are the real deal!!
I don’t do it often but every now and then I need some fried chicken, red beans and rice and biscuits from Popeyes. The location of this on is easy for me. There are other locations around. But I love their spicy chicken. It’s always fresh and because of this occasionally you have to wait for it. But it’s worth the wait. Popeyes has the best biscuits. They are always so good. The red beans and rice is one of my favorite things. I will just order this sometimes with some biscuits and it makes me very happy. Just a tip if you don’t want to wait, order on the app before you go or on the way and it will usually be ready for you when you get there. The line for drive through can be long that’s why I go in to pick up my food.
This place still the best consistently. I come here every once a while and the chicken pieces and tenders is cooked well with moisture. I just wish all the other chains for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen learn from this branch.
Besides being a little hard to get in and out of from where I live trying to get back everything else is great...
There's a Kentucky Fried Chicken across the street that is hardly busy.
But this Popeyes is busy from the time they're open to the time they close every day....
Most of the one-star reviews is the result of how busy they always are you have to be patient because they are slammed..
I was surprised. I hadn't had Popeyes in years, but the scent was irresistible. I got the ghost pepper wings, and I was served less than ten minutes. The wings were fresh, but not oiley like I expected. It was spicy and flavorful like I wanted. The biscuits were soft, and the mashed potatoes with gravy was great. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. If it wasn't a long drive from home, I would return. Hopefully, they deliver, and when I'm in the area, I will go there.
The food was really fresh. The fries were too hot to eat them (not a bad thing) and the chicken was still hot when I got home. The chicken tasted a little bland but it was overall good. The staff member who took my order was very polite and was friendly at the window. Great customer service tonight!
I ordered thru the drive thru. Everything was perfect. Easy order chicken sandwich with rice and beans was so good. I would be back.

The service was great, a bunch of mature women working there. It was good to see them working like that. Great job, ladies.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 stars is because 5 tenders, French fries, and a soda about $16.00, this expensive.
However, everything else was excellent.
I'm from the area, and I can only imagine the challenges of working at such busy corner.
The employees here at Popeyes have always gone the extra mile for me, and they always have a big smile before I go. I really appreciate all you do, you're a gift <3
