Bar Harbor Seafood

I saw this place on IG. I was visiting Orlando and decided to give it a try. I ordered the lobster bisque for $5.99 for starters. It was delicious, and the portion was huge. My entree was their $12.99 lunch special. It included BBQ salmon, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. It was all very tasty. On my way out, I picked up some fresh scallops to cook at home. This was a win win!

I lived in New England for 20 years and this seafood is as good as anything I could get there... It's literally as good as buying it harborfront right off the boat... Very very fresh as it's likely part of the boat and part off the plane. We're very close to Orlando international airport here. Finally FYI Google maps gets very confused about the actual road here but gets you to this food outlet eventually... Apparently the road was changed quite a bit and parts of it were turned into an actual large-scale business parking lot so the road and suddenly but there's a nearby turn that gets you right over to this food outlet....

This place is so authentic and delicious. Please note they are closed on certain days and run very specific hours so don’t be like me and show up without checking. I always get their lobster roll or the shrimp - make sure you get a punch card too. The only seating is outdoors or you can take food to go. I will always drive very far out of the way to come here.

Being from New England I'm always looking for seafood like I would have in Massachusetts and Maine. And Bar Harbor seafood NEVER disappoints. I always find fresh lobster, scallops and shrimp. It's a great place to buy seafood to cook at home and a fantastic lunch spot. Their lobster empanadas are ridiculously delicious. If you are looking for that perfect spot to find great seafood for now and later, this is should be your stop. You will not need to go elsewhere. They have everything you need.

We were not expecting much as this is a fish market that sells retail lunches in an industrial park, but oh my, the food was good, the service was very nice and the prices extremely reasonable. I had a salmon burger with fries and a soft drink for $13. My friend had one of the lunch specials - BBQ salmon with mash potatoes and vegetables. Hers was $12. All of our food was delicious. You can only eat at picnic tables outside or order to go (we noticed many to go orders headed out the window). We ate at a picnic table that had a large umbrella and there was a nice breeze blowing. Service was efficient and the food was tasty. We plan to return soon. We want to try their lobster rolls.
