Food was great! Hashbrowns were crispy so I'll be back for those!
Service was a smidge slow, but I wasn't in much of a hurry so it wasn't too much of an issue.
I had the smoked sausage omelet and I'd recommend it.

Sonny's Kitchen is a nice diner style restaurant offering additional food variety to downtown Oregon with decent value. The chicken fried chicken was bland with a cheap gravy taste though the meat was very tender, I did however thoroughly enjoy the prime rib which was cooked, and seasoned very well. The service was interesting to say the least.

Great food and great people! My grandma has been struggling with her health and not eating much of anything. She ate their homemade chicken soup and couldn’t say enough about it. The waitress was telling her boss how much my grandma loved it and sent her home with a fairly sizeable amount of soup. She was so happy. I ditto the soup being good and everything else I ate was delicious too

Exactly what you'd expect! Typical American diner with a big menu. Wasn't a huge fan of the cheese curds but the salad and egg white omelette were both great!

I stopped in for a late breakfast with 2 friends of mine. Sonny's was recommended to me by a friend who lived in Oregon. Great hometown local restaurant. Homemade food, food portions and reasonable prices.
I ordered the Vegetarian 3 Egg Omelett with hashbrowns and wheat toast. The omelette had spinach, mushrooms, onions, and broccoli in it. It was very good. Service was fast and friendly.

Updating 9/27/18: Even better on subsequent trips. Service was fantastic. Everything cooked exactly to order!
Great spot for breakfast! It filled up completely at 9am on a Sunday. The service was great. I recommend a scrambler or a skillet. The eggs benedict was just ok (eggs and potatoes good but the hollandaise wasn't the greatest). The Haystack skillet was the favorite of the table.
