Mancino's Pizza & Grinders

We dined here for lunch following a several year hiatus and now recall why we haven't eaten here more often. The grinders we received were hot and fresh but needed more seasoning. If they had added oregano, basil, garlic or some other spices they would have been excellent. The counter staff weren't rude but neither were they friendly. The atmosphere inside the dining room could use some love. We would have been better off getting take-out. Another negative is a 3.5% surcharge to use a debit card. They should just price the items correctly. It is unlikely that we will return to this restaurant.

6 mos ago I would have given a 5 stars but tonight's experience was not the greatest. Service- had to ask 3 times for plates, as we were not given plates at purchase, like usual. We ordered a lg pizza half mushroom sausage half pepperoni banana pepper. Pizza came out with no banana peppers. Product-Crust and cheese were different on pizza. Significantly less cheese on pizza and crust was much thinner than usual. Dining area was not clean, we had to wipe off our own table to find a clean one. This was probably just a busy night for them, but our family was really looking forward to the great Mancino's pizza we have loved in the past. It just didn't live up to past experience. Hoping to catch them on a better night next time.
