Service was great and the food was so great. Brisket has so much flavor and it was the best coleslaw I have ever had.

J B's Barbeque Restaurant, located at 5750 US-90, Orange, Texta 77630, is a great little barbecue restaurant conveniently located right of US-90. A great selection of barbecue meats, corn, mashed potatoes , sides, sandwiches and delicious pies!

Great Meats and very friendly Service. Three meats plate with chipped Brisket, Ribs and Sausage was very good!

Sadly J B's is closed. We stopped there and had a picnic lunch during a driving break. Not sure how long it had been closed, but, you could almost hear the ghosts of past patrons and staff. I can imagine at one time J B's was the place to go for excellent BBQ. You could tell the past owner(s) put their heart and soul into the endeavor.

The brisket, bbq sauce, sweet tea, Cole slaw, sausage and corn were 10/10 delicious.
Potato salad wasn’t our favorite but was still good.
Everyone was extremely polite and friendly when we stopped by on a random Thursday afternoon. Thank you for a good experience

Best BBQ in Texas. My daughter has cancer and is in Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. After she got out if one of her surgeries all she wanted was some good ol marbled sliced beef. The best anywhere. The people are friendly and will treat you like family. Go show your support for a business that has been open over 40 years with the same owner and recipes. You will never get anything better!!

Old school joint off the highway with solid brisket and some really nice folks behind the counter. Tried the brisket, berry cobbler, and some boudain (which was my first time).
Brisket was nearly perfect, and I definitely enjoyed the cobbler. I think the cobbler would have been tastier if they had an option to warm it up, but it wasn't mentioned.
Boudain, being my first time, wasn't my thing. Texture was not what I was expecting. It might be the best on Earth, but I wouldn't know 😅, so no penalty there.

We've been waiting a long time to try this place. Gerard is a wonderful host, we got to meet the whole crew and his awesome grandfather JB. How exciting to be part of a family business for so long.
