Awesome place. Pretty much everything sold is imported straight from Italy, so you can find all kinds of goodies that aren't available at most grocery stores. The deli is also fantastic. Make sure to try the mushroom soup, if you like mushrooms you will LOVE it.
Have you ever travel to Italy? Whether or not you have or you have not this place is A slice of Italy here in Omaha Nebraska. The sights, the smells, the foods, the pasta, the wine, the spices, you got the point. There is always a sampling of soups which change daily they have the best Italian beef sandwiches I have ever tasted. no expensive airline tickets no passport no visa required come on in and drink up a little Italy.
Real Italian food! The cookies are wonderful - not too sweet and perfectly Italian. The Bolognese sauce is to die for and the pork ragu will make you fall in love with the chef! The Prosciutto sliced to perfection, paper thin! The selection of pasta is amazing and beautiful: Gluten free , regular and artisan! If that wasn't enough... buy some delicious home made soup, freeze it or not, it will make your heart feel happy! I have tried their minestrone... oh! So good! but if you are gluten free, try the lentil soup... just like my grandma used to make it! Serve the lentils with rice, and you will have the perfect comfort meal in just minutes!
Wonderful new neighborhood Italian market - complete with all the charm of Sicily "to boot"! Be sure to try the Muffaletta sandwich - it's second to none! Great place for lunch and dinner takeaway or to pickup wonderful specialty foods, pasta, coffees and wines. Buon Appetito!
