Omg, I was craving some bar b que when I got in town, but was conflicted on where to go. I was told about this place …and boy am I glad. The young lady that took my order was sooo friendly and it continued when I picked up my order. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The ribs were smoked to perfection, the sides were seasoned well. I will most definitely come back when I come back in town. Thank you for your hospitality and I’m most definitely sharing my review on FB.
The food was delicious in my opinion! I ordered the Beef Hot Boy Nachos but opted for fries instead of chips, and I must say, it was a great choice! The brisket was tender, and the cheese sauce was really good. I strongly recommend giving it a try as it's definitely worth every penny.
I stopped in for lunch, ordering ribs, catfish, cabbage and Cole slaw. The food was outstanding. The ribs were meaty, the cabbage was warm and nicely seasoned, Cole slaw was good, catfish was FANTASTIC. This was the best catfish I ever had. I tried hot and mild bbq sauce for dipping the ribs, both were very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. There was even a chocolate chip cookie included for dessert.

I've had the baby back ribs with the hot bbq sauce, catfish, and pulled pork sandwich. They were all fantastic! I have now been having regular cravings for Wayne's New Skoo BBQ.
One thing to mention- if it's close to closing time, call first.
Wayne's brisket is perfect! Tender and still has a perfect texture. Juicy not greasy Not too smoky. I'd say it's the best brisket we've EVER had with or without the sauce which was a beautiful creation! Fried cabbage and bacon paired amazing with my sandwich! Potato salad? I don't even like potato salad.. I do now! Baked beans? Yes please!
Purchased 2 desserts along with our meals. Lady T's... A strawberry cake and a banana bread pudding I believe. Such a perfect ending to the perfect meal. Not over priced. Welcoming atmosphere! We thank you for the all around first experience. We are coming back and telling our family and friends what they've been missing all their lives! We'll be back, and probably this evening.
Simlpy incredibe. This is a locally-owned, friendly place with reasonable prices and mind-blowing barbecue. I got my takeout quickly and was served by a chipper and pleasant woman, however, I failed to catch her name. I had the best Carolina BBQ sandwich this side of Charlotte with dirty rice. Out of this world! I highly recommend and definitely be back!
My reg Bbq had a fire so I have tried a few different places . This place has been the best so far. Ribs were tender not dried out nice smoky flavor. I had beans and fried cabbage. They give you 2 sides and a cookie with a can of pop .Definitely worth a stop in
Did a little BBQ tour the other day and went to this place on my friends recommendations.

Loved the smokiness, but found them a little on the dry side. If you like your meat drier/leaner this might be for you
We preferred the mild sauce over the sweet and the spicy.
There is a small private lot for parking.
It was recommended by a coworker...so I went for my first time and they did not disappoint the ribs were a 10/10 loved the coleslaw the potatoe salad was ok but those ribs omg...can't wait to try something else...also I got a free cookie 😀
In Omaha for a day and a co worker was craving BBQ and found this place. Everything was delicious and cooked to order we even ordered extra to go! Every time I’m here I’ll be stopping by to try everything on the menu
