Best authentic Mexican food in the area. I was looking for a place closer to me (other than South Omaha) for authentic Mexican food, and I am so happy I found this place. It is still a bit of a drive for me but it is definitely worth it from their Steak tacos, tortas, churros, and other dishes it's definitely my favorite. My only complaint would be that when ordering for carry out they often forget to add salsa, or condiments. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good option for authentic Mexican!

We love Los Compadres. We eat there regularly. They serve the best street tacos in Omaha. Our favorite is the carnita taco, but they also serve carne asada, shrimp, and other more unique meats like tongue and tripe. We also recommend the red enchiladas and chipotle cream chicken. Everything is fresh and we've never been disappointed.

They serve chips and salsa when you eat there! I had some really great enchiladas here. My food came out fast and it was an excellent spot for lunch
