Easily the best jambalaya I've ever had. A bit more spice would have been great, but I get that they have to cook for the masses. Some Louisiana hot sauce did the trick. And the "Shucks puppies".....also incredible. Less doughy (yes, that's a word), but incredibly good! I'll absolutely be back!
Had such a lovely night out. Oysterfest was totally worth the 90min drive. Had a seafood feast for only $80 by combining the Oysterfest prices with happy hour prices at Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar. Cup of oyster stew, 1lb peel and eat shrimp, clam strips, 1doz Harbor House oysters from Delaware, 1doz North Shore Gold from P.E.I. Canada and 3 draft beers. This seafood loving FL girl is a happy clam.
I will say that the clam strips were way too salty, but not too heavily breaded. Also, not very meaty. The oyster stew was thick - like clam chowder and had a total of 3 oysters (which I thought was decent, since it was only a cup). I’m used to oyster stew being more thin (but maybe that’s just how it is up here in the Midwest). It was also way too salty for me, the bread piece served with it helped (a little). North Shore oysters were FIRE! Harbor House oysters were good - a little bigger than what I prefer, but were thin, so not too overwhelming. Both had a little bit of grit, but, they’re oysters, so they’re not gonna be perfect. The cocktail sauce had definite hints of Bloody Mary mix. Horseradish was nose tingling good. Beer was cold and didn’t taste off (which can happen sometimes with draft beer).
The restaurant was on the smaller side and busy when we arrive just after 5. We sat at the bar, and despite the rush, had great service that was friendly and prompt. Overall, very happy with the experience and looking forward to making another trip to one of their other two locations on the future.
Great place for oysters on the half shell and other seafood or Cajun dishes in Omaha. Good prices for seafood also.
Food was awesome, came out super quick! I had the Shrimp Scampi and my husband had fried catfish, I think. Both dishes tasted great!
First time at shucks . Loved it ! The jambalaya was to die for. Lots of shrimp, chicken & sausage . Dined with husband and sister . They had risotto and hubby had fish & chips.
We had full meals and bought 1/2 home
For supper . Both their meals were excellent as well . Handicapped accessible ( easy to get in) . Help was courteous and knowledgeable on choices. We will be going back

We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and our server was friendly and prompt. We had our own pen to draw on our paper table cover. Happy Hour is definitely the time to go! The house margaritas were good. Their Gluten Free options are expansive.
Yummy 😋🦐 decided to stop for lunch, and glad I did. The hostess was super helpful, and he had great recommendations. I decided to go with the shrimp po’ boy and it was really good! Seasoned well, fried & crispy and not oily.. enough shrimp per bite and delicious aioli/sauce!

Stopped by to have dinner with family. The place was clean, and the service was efficient and friendly.
There were a lot of people there, but the waitress was very attentive.
Five 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The fresh oysters were so good this visit. They are always fresh but the flavor was delightful. We also had a bowl of gumbo. Perfect side to add to the oysters. The staff is friendly and helpful .
Terrific food, fair prices, and a surprisingly extensive list of gluten-free options including beer, cider, and even a variety of fried foods. The quality of the fish is impressive. My $1 happy hour oysters were larger and fresher than most I’ve eaten for full price. And this gluten free fried walleye special was delicious. What a treat for someone with Celiac. I will be back.
