First time in. Seating is fend for yourself. Location was busy for a Thursday. Food was amazing and inexpensive.

Good selection of traditional dishes. The food was good and the service timely. The dining room was crowded but, still had an inviting atmosphere. The prices were fair. With a party of 8 we tried many of the dishes. Ordering at the window wasn't super convenient. They did bring our food. Self service for the soft drinks, stuffed behind the silverware rack. All in all, I would eat here again.

The food is very tasty. This place have great vegan options. I love their falafel. During warmer seasons you can sit outside and it has a good atmosphere. I wish they could extend their open hours after 7:30pm

Absolutely a hidden gem! There is minimal service, but as long as you are aware, it's actually kinda nice (order at the window, get your own drinks and utensils, they bring the food to you). Authentic music playing and the patio is exquisite, you don't think you are in Omaha. I ordered the El Basha special platter with lentil soup. It was a very filling dinner, probably could have made it into 2 meals. It was so flavorful both the seasoning on the meat and the sauces. The lentil soup is one of my favorite I have had. A friend had the falafels and said it was great as well without an overpowering mint flavor that many falafels can have. This is a must try place!

Incredible food! I could eat this every day. Get v there early! It was a weekday afternoon at 4:30, and by 5:15pm the tightly packed tables were full. I kept wondering about fire code if we'd all get out. 😅 I truly hope their success let's them obtain a larger building, as they deserve it. You order at the counter, which was odd to me. I understand why they need people to pay first, but the order line passes right by all the tables. I would have loved for someone to explain the items though, to recommend the right beverage (as they have a huge bar, yet I didn't see a list), and suggest a desert or coffee. I was thankful I noticed the coffee before we ordered and paid. The coffee really needs instructions, though, as we are coffee experts yet have never experienced Turkish coffee. It was incredible. I hope great success in all the future to this amazing gem of a restaurant, and we will be back next time we are in Omaha.

You have to come visit this hidden gem! It gets packed, but for a good reason. The food is off the chain! The ambiance and atmosphere is calming and peaceful. I ordered a beef gyro and my friend ordered the soup and salad.

This is the second time we came here. I had the El Basha Grill Platter and Gyro combo for my husband. He doesn't care for the sauce. He said he liked the gyro (meat). The next time we go back, we'd like to put the garlic or tahini sauce in a different saucer. The baklava tastes really good but because of the butter, it's a bit greasy. I also had the grape leaves. I prefer it with meat on the side since it's just rice wrapped in leaves with spices and vegetables. The area is too small for a person with a wheelchair. I love the staff. They serve you with a smile not a serious frown face.

I was craving Mediterranean food and we came upon this place! We did takeout because it was T minus 5 minutes before I threw a “BF” because I was so hungry. They quoted us 20 minutes and we got there early and it was prepared!!! Now wait till you see the pictures… the food was beautiful and smelled so so good. But who cares about that. How did it taste??? BEST Mediterranean food we’ve ever had. Hands down. To top off this experience, the environment inside and outside was immaculate. Such a cute place to sit and have lunch with friends or go to grab a bite and get some work done. 10/10 will definitely be coming back! Pictured: Chicken Shawarma over rice with Tahini sauce, Side Salad with both dressings offered mixed together, and the gyro with fries and extra Suzuki sauce. Total didn’t even come to $20 before tip!

We enjoyed this place! You order everything at the counter and they bring it to you. She got the gyro platter with salad and I got the beef shawarma wrap combo with fries. We also got the El Basha tea and the Turkish coffee. They were good (coffee is strong!), though I do recommend getting one of the other -- they give you a whole pot. They play middle eastern music and the atmosphere feels authentic. There's some nice outdoor patio seating as well, so this is a perfect spot to hit up during the warmer months after an excursion at NFM. Will be returning to try other dishes. Definitely recommend.
