How we had not found this place before now is unknown. My wife and I visited for our anniversary since we live about an hour and a half from Omaha. The flavor in each bite was a delight. The skill and thought in the creation (squash pastrami) of each part of the plate was mind boggling. By far the best meal we have ever had in Nebraska and one of the tops from our travels also. Don’t miss your chance.

This place is top notch best in omaha for sure! The atmosphere is amazing, the food is to die for, service was on point. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection! Hands down would eat there everyday if I could! So clean and love watching the chefs create masterpieces from the drinks, entries, to desserts they are all works of art. Hats off to the Boiler room!!!

We came here after a work meeting and it was the perfect way to unwind! The food looked and tasted amazing. The drinks were very unique and tasty. Our server made our experience memorable as well! I really enjoyed the experience and the use of locally sourced food will have me coming back.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had, even as people who have traveled all over the world. Chef is incredibly talented and we will absolutely be dining here again. We started with a raw scallop appetizer and they were the best scallops I have ever tasted. I also got the Fluke that came in a light curry sauce—it was incredible. The chocolate cake for dessert was the perfect ending to the meal.

Very lovely spot for dinner! We got the charcuterie board for an appetizer, and it did not disappoint. It paired well with both selections of wine we chose for the night. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly, and all the sides were equally delicious. The apple tarte was perfect, although didn't quite satiate the sweet tooth. Overall, very filling and delicious.

I recently dined at The Boiler Room in Omaha, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The halibut was a highlight - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. However, the ratatouille left something to be desired, lacking the same wow factor. The steak was decent, and the pork chop was alright, though neither left a lasting impression. What did stand out were the ricotta agnolotti and the jalapeño pork sausage - truly exceptional dishes that I couldn't get enough of. The service was solid, and the lively ambiance was a perfect match for the Downtown vibe. Our table was located by a painting of pig heads, which was strangely unnerving, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience. I was quite pleased with my Archer Scotch drink - impeccably smooth. The sourdough bread was a delightful addition, soaking up every bit of the delicious sauces. While I thoroughly enjoyed many aspects of the meal, I did feel that the prices were slightly on the higher side. All in all, The Boiler Room provided a mix of flavors and experiences, with some definite highlights that are worth trying.

Omaha recently started to grow up on me, and Old Town Market is mostly responsible for it. Any given day or evening, it's such a pleasure to walk around and enjoy the architecture, wall art, and some of the storefronts. If you plan on going to Old Market for food either for The Boiler Room or for another restaurant, I suggest parking a little further than your destination and taking a walk. You will not be disappointed. The Boiler Room is located a little off of the beaten path, and as you walk towards the restaurant, just the view of the building and the colorful garden area immediately elevates your mood. It is relatively small and I strongly recommend you make reservations. The restaurant door opens to a second level, looking directly over the bar and kitchen. Second level seating, which is the best location in my opinion, offers open floor plan and high ceilings. The lower level ceiling is a little too low, and clearly, this restaurant is not made for bar customers as the bartop is a little too narrow, and the chairs, let's say, a tad too uncomfortable View of the aged brick walls, dark brown steel posts, steel pipes, beams, and ducts overhead really complete the ambiance as you are looking to the wine cellar. Great wine and cocktail selection. If you are getting red meat, I would recommend La Sala del Torriano, you won't be disappointed. I have ordered wagyu sirloin steak. I don't like the cold center, so I ordered it medium, and it was cooked to perfection. This dish is executed to perfection with eggplant puree, marinated lentils, shishito, cherry tomatoes, and mushroom demi glace. Bitters from eggplant puree and rich mushroom demi glace really elevates the soft tender sirloin, which really compliments to chef on this brilliant option. I would really be excited and interested in to try a steak dish with Béarnaise sauce from this chef. I am not posting the menu, because I was told it is constantly changing, so I would not want to mislead anyone to certain menu items. Here are a few setbacks; The server forgot to get my drink, had to finish the second half of my food without a drink, In summer, avoid the left side of the bar as the fan from the fridge blowing hot air right on your feet, Bathrooms, oh god, I'm not sure what ladies one looks like, but the men side reminded me of LaGuardia restrooms. It's clean but just not fitting the restaurant. Really can use some upgrades. Also, please install a door stopper and fix the hole in the wall. So if you are going on a date and impress your date, or if you are in town for business for a great bite, this place with its cool ambiance and delicious food should definitely be on your list. May be a plan on logistics ahead of time to avoid restrooms, score a second floor table with a kitchen view, and you have gotten yourself a great night.

Pricey, but excellent food. Wait staff cordial and efficient, but not as attentive as in other higher end downtown Omaha restaurants. Lingering smell from a repaint or restrain job the night we were there. Otherwise interesting masks and decor.

We had a beautiful first anniversary here - the service is fantastic and the food is such a unique and delicious combination of flavors no matter what you order. The upper dining area was 3/4 full even at 8:30pm during our reservation, and the servers worked together to ensure everyone was cared for and each table’s special occasion was known to all throughout the evening. The pork belly curry appetizer was our favorite; such a unique dish with Indian flavors, and the lamb and the salmon entrees were delicious. They brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to start which was a nice touch, too. We will be back for future special occasions!

Service was top notch, atmosphere was excellent, and the detail level and quality of the food was impeccable. The menu is constantly changing, so be prepared for surprises when you get to the restaurant. The cocktails are very complex and delightful. The Nashville pork croquette was a delightful spicy appetizer. My wife had the Norwegian halibut, a beautiful piece of fish, cooked perfectly with delightful sides to accompany. I had the roasted porchetta, which was savory, juicy and delicious. The greens and red eye gravy elevated it even more. We each got the chocolate torte for dessert because it was too good to share!

What a great place to eat! I had the lamb shank and my daughter had the wagyu steak. Both were excellent! Charcuterie plate and rhubarb/strawberry tart were superb! Great service also.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely amazing. The chef is very talented, hats off. We loved every bite of food, drinks and dessert. It’s been years since I’ve visited but going back yesterday was just a flash back to how delectable the food is. 10/10 would recommend.
