I was working late last week, my husband noticed this new restaurant on his way home and decided to give it a try. He liked the 2 things he ordered so much that he convinced me to go back a few days later and try the ribs and give some other options on the menu a try. Really and truly, everything was delicious. As for the ribs, the meat fell off the bones & the sauce was very tasty. Even the mac&cheese had a kick and a great flavor. It's not exactly a lo-cal meal, but I highly recommend this place and we will definitely go back - so nice to have a different meal option that is done so well. Great, friendly service, too. Prices are totally reasonable. I almost never write reviews, but, for very selfish reasons, I really want this place to be successful so I am happy to spread the word.
Picked up some muffalatas and gumbo at their food truck during JBLM's Freedom Fest, and Sensational Cajun did not disappoint! Since moving from South MS, we haven't found good home food in the area, and this was a real treat. Lots of food for your money too!
Laissez les bons temps rouler! The gentleman working the food truck is not only a very friendly and welcoming human being, he’s a master at his craft of producing Cajun/Louisiana inspired food. I enjoyed the special today ( I went with his gumbo, fried trout, and fried shrimp - pictured). Will definitely be back to try some more dishes. C’est toujours le bon moment for some Cajun food!
Holy cow. After reading the reviews at 4.9 stars on google I was ready to be disappointed after setting my expectations too high. Let me tell you how wrong I was. Yes there was a wait but that meant I got fresh food. The owner made a very friendly atmosphere and amazing food. I’ve never had gator or catfish before but I will for sure again! It was amazing. Gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. My goodness delicious.

Great person, Great food. Everything was made fresh to order and I will definitely be back. Very generous portions. Would of posted photos but my family demolished the plates haha.
I would say probably the best we can get here in Lacey/Olympia! Oh man was the catfish bites delicious! Moist and lightly breaded and the sauce! Oh man! What ever that sauce/dip is, it went perfectly with the catfish bites.
I got the beignets and I thought it wasn’t bad. But my dad on the other hand fricken loved it!
What the hell? The spicy chicken is insanely delicious. I highly highly recommend the 3 meat combo with 3/4 lb Jambalaya bowl.
I thought this food truck turned brick and mortar was awesome. I am not from the south but my wife is and she finally got some collard greens that are too die for. I went with the shrimp and grits and "OMG!!" they were awesome. I also had the 7 bite chicken and the misses had the 4 bite catfish.
GET THE GREENS! Top two I've ever had. The chicken was equally amazing. Crazy juicy, flavorful, and fresh to make my order. The dipping sauce, you dont even need, is awesome. I will be a frequent patron.
