Pit Stop Barbecue

Being born and raised in Florida, I've always critiqued my BBQ (comes with the territory), and I will say this place exceeded any expectation I had. The chicken was phenomenal, the pulled pork was exceptional, and the ribs couldn't manage to stay on the bone. Not only were their proteins on point, but the sides dominated the pallet as well. The mac 'n cheese was homemade and gooey, the coleslaw was crisp and fresh, and so on. Please allow The Pit Stop to be the next place you venture for your next BBQ craving. You will not be disappointed!

My fiancé and I came here for the first time recently and we will definitely be back. He had the chicken and I had the combo platter with ribs and pulled pork. I also had the Mac n' cheese and coleslaw. Everything was amazing! I usually don't like Mac n' cheese, but they have changed my mind! The side of B-B-Q sauce was also delicious! The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner! They will definitely become a staple in our household!

This review is strictly about portion size and customer service because I have yet to taste the dinner I just purchased. I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner when I walked in. The woman acted as if she was bothered buy me. I ordered a chicken dinner while telling her I had read reviews on Google which is why I chose this place. She proceeded to make my dinner and the sides of my meal didn't fill the container. My plate felt so light. However I didn't say anything. That's something I can get over but the way I felt while being a patron is it unacceptable. I was the only one there at the time so you would think I would have received better service. The food does look good from this place & it's literally 5 minutes away from my new job. Due to the poor customer service I received during my visit today I will not return

My wife and I were really hoping this would be a great BBQ place. We drive by it everyday to/from work and the aroma the place puts off reminded me of a really good southern bbq joint. We ordered our food and when we got home discovered it was not everything we ordered. I normally check at any restaurant that is take out that its correct but the woman for some odd reason double knotted the bag. I thought it was odd she did that at the restaurant. We ordered ribs, a chopped pork sandwich and a side or macaroni and cheese. What we got were ribs 2 chicken legs and Mac and cheese. The ribs had decent flavor but were cold, and the meat hard to pull off the bone. The chicken was good, a bit cold, but not what we wanted. The Mac and cheese was really awful. It too was cold, had barely any cheese and the noodles fell apart like they had been sitting for days. It was like a big bowl of soggy noodles. My wife made the comment "I feel like I'm eating wet paper".
