I really like the flourless chocolate cake. I ordered it last year and ordered it this year just before Christmas as I forgot to do it earlier. Wanted the small one as my kids , my husband like some other goodies but it was only large available and what can I say I have been keep eating a slice each day with my coffee:) I really like it but it depends on each taste ;)

Small, but various selection of baked goods. I bought a couple larks & crumb cake. Absolutely delicious! The woman at the counter (I’m assuming the owner) was lovely as well.

We recently moved back "home" to the US from Europe, and this is the real deal. The croissants are as good as many I've eaten in Europe. The chocolate croissant was even better! Instead of nutella, she fills it with a quality hazelnut spread. I also really liked the triple mousse cake. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Fast, friendly service! These ladies were not only personable, they also bake the best desserts in the Northeast! We were visiting from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and stumbled upon this little bakery! So glad we did! Wish we had pastry shops this good back home!

I ordered the flourless chocolate cake from the Christmas menu. It really wasn’t very good. It had very finely chopped nuts in it that gave the cake an unusual, even somewhat unpleasant, texture. It also was not fresh. The cake spent a couple days in the fridge, or even a freezer…Pretty disappointed for what I paid! Moreover, we ended up tossing it a few days later because no one enjoyed it. I believe my standards are higher than those of this bakery, especially when it comes to chocolate.

I live in Old Lyme and was on the hunt for a good bakery. I stumbled upon this gem and will never go anywhere else!! Their scones, chocolate croissants and other pastries are far beyond anything I’ve tasted before! The gentleman at the counter was polite and didn’t rush me to decide (there were so many amazing options) I will definitely be going back asap! Even my 3 year old son enjoyed the scone and he’s not big on sweets. Great bakery!!

Dagmar's so graciously helped us out with our last-minute request for a no-coconut carrot cake for our wedding. It was so pretty with little flowers on top, and everyone raved about how good it was and asked where we got it! We also got a vegan chocolate cupcake for one friend and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. Thank you Dagmar's!
