This place is a gem 💎 of the Connecticut Shoreline. It was sooo nice. Everything was delectable, even the salad 🥗!!! I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the seafood/pasta broil. Let’s say that it did not disappoint! Would highly recommend. The atmosphere and decor, along with the great quality food make this place a top-notch eats.
Very nice experience!
We got the grilled Octopus and Calimari for apps, both were delicious!
I got the Cioppino and Stacy got the Salmon burger. Both were excellent and unlike "The River" in Wethersfield, the portions were pretty big.
The service was very good, even though we just walked in at about 5:30 on a Sunday we were seated immediately.
It is a little pricey but the scenery, food and service make it well worth it.
It was pretty full, they got us in outside. Calamari was great, drinks were decent but plastic detracts. Loved the swordfish, the fish and chips were meh, hard to get water refills. Seemed overworked, took longer than I would have liked, last drink order was wrong, but close enough. Took way too long to get the appetizers, a little bread or something could have made it more tolerable
Lovely harbor side location. We ended up sitting at a bar top because other outside tables were full or hadn’t been cleaned. Tasty calamari. Excellent hot lobster roll but truffle fries cold. (Waitress subtracted from the bill without being asked.) Swordfish with fresh green pea risotto was a delight. Mango cheesecake memorable, but strawberry basil pesto shortcake was a tad contrived. Service friendly — but as many places — apparently overworked because of lack of staff
Great food. We are staying here and so far everything been great. Good attentive waiters . Lunch- tuna poke bowl . Breakfast- smoked salmon bagel. Perfect smoked salmon Benedict . Dinner- Arctic char and Seafood Cioppino. The Sunday brunch for Easter was too good.
Great place, expensive, but worth. Their dishes are sophisticated and well-prepared, although some may not be in the best. Swordfish steak was grilled perfectly, sweet carrot Sauce was a little off. Cioppino was tested great and generous, but a little too much soup diluted flavor. Hamburger was very nice, grilled perfectly, good bread and pickle (home-made?), Parmigiano-Truffle French Fries was too salted. But I understand these are human-made with a reasonable range of variation. Overall, it was great experience, highly recommended.
Amazing food, drinks and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had martinis, tuna triangles and cocktail shrimp (not pictured...eaten before I could get to it!), and striped bass which was local and phenomenal. Highly recommend!
I was our first time here and won't be our last. The food was amazing and service was impeccable. It has a great bar area, I can't wait for longer days to enjoy the view.
