Admittedly, I am really truly not a breakfast person. You say pancakes? I say EW. Coffee? ... Now I'm interested. Good Thyme Cafe has * delicious * food. Before they closed outdoor seating for the season, my boyfriend and I ate here for the first time and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff are super friendly and the quality of the food is so satisfying. It's affordable, quaint, and a great little spot for the town. Now we try to go every once in a while to switch up our weekend routine. Keep up the amazing work, and we will be back :)
Yes, I am the typical tourist whobwants to capture THE ENTIRE essence of autumn. It is especially true when it comes to unique local spots that embody the natural soul and energy of the community where they're situated.
The inside is cozy and charming, but under the splendor of a Maple tree at the peak of autumn is the best place to sit and enjoy the fabulous breakfast, splendid service, and wonderful people.
Such great staff. Be sure to get here early as there can be a wait, but its worth it. I had the Benedict Oscar. Best Benedict I've ever had. Everything was so fresh even the breakfast potatoes. Whatever you get will be amazing.
Wonderful all around! We chose this place for breakfast because anything involving the word Thyme must be a hit... and that it was. The service was incredibly fast, the food was delicious and fresh. Our favorite part was the owner, Holly, she is incredibly kind and friendly... we feel like we made a new friend. I highly recommend if you are looking for great food and a caring atmosphere!!!
I am a visitor to the Portland area a few times a year. Decided to take my family there again today prior to our long trip back to Philly. It was just how I remembered. Quaint, clean, service is great and the food delicious. I had the same thing I had the last time, Eggs Oscar. I was not disappointed. My grandson had pancakes and when they say plate size they mean it. Coffee has a nice flavor too. My favorite breakfast spot!
My first time being to the Good Thyme Cafe and it was delicious. I'll certainly come back. I had the Eggs Oscar (pictured below), basically a Eggs Benedict except you have crab meat and asparagus. I highly recommend this dish!
We had breakfast at Good Thyme Cafe and Catering this morning. I had the Lobster Eggs Benedict it was Delicious!! We liked it so much that we will return tomorrow morning! So friendly and we were welcomed quickly and seated with hot coffee in my hand within a couple minutes! Loved it!!
