Cafe Luna

Nice local cafe with good food and good service. In nice weather they have an outdoor seating area, although like every place in a small shopping strip, it sits in the middle of a parking area. They did the best thing they could, though, and put a fence around it to somewhat isolate car exhaust. Inside, the cafe is nicely decorated and the menu has something for everyone. Worth a visit.

After having a lunch date with my bestie here I knew I had to come again with my husband for date night. Both days the food was delicious and the ambience was relaxing. Both times I have only had seafood but I highly recommend the clams and fish dishes. The only complaint I had (but I did not take stars off for this) was that on my date night with my husband the main entrees came out about 5 minutes after they served us the appetizers. That was disappointing as we had to rush so the food didn't get cold. I recommend you order the appetizers then once they come order your dinner.

We attended a private party.. Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was excellent. Servers were always there asking if you needed anything. Only criticisms are water being served in bottles for the table. Water wasn't cold. Pitchers of water with ice would have been better than having to ask for ice all night. Secondly was the coffee. Each cup was loaded up on trays with coffee no saucers and when served they were cold. Better to have cups and saucers on table and pour coffee from carafes so it would be served hot.

I’ve been here a few times before and liked the food, so I made a reservation for my family for Mother’s Day dinner. When we sat down at the restaurant, I was surprised to see a special pre fixe menu, as it was not mentioned when I called to make the reservation that they would not have their regular menu available. There were no prices listed anywhere which was unnerving but we had driven from out of town to go there, and on Mother’s Day, I was unsure of where else I could get a table last minute for dinner, so we stayed. The food was below average, and I feel like we should have been told ahead of time that there would be a special menu- it felt like bait and switch. My brother has dietary restrictions so he couldn’t even eat two of the courses (with no offer of a replacement), and the bill was an astronomical $400 for 3 people, one drink, and a coffee. There was an automatic 20% gratuity, which I would have paid anyway because our server Jason was great, but they also charged us nearly 4% extra for paying with a card, far higher than what is required to pay credit card fees. Overall the experience felt like a cash grab and I will no longer be returning there for dinner.
