Been here many times. Wonderful Mexican restaurant. I have tried many items on the menu. Haven't had anything bad yet. Just a side note. The Queso is not complimentary and the Salsa is different, yet very good.

Absolutely delicious!! We just moved to this area and Chapala has become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the city! The queso and salsa are amazing. Our favorite is the Fajita Sampler, it is completely shareable for two people. Also the staff is very sweet, and the food comes out quick.

Place is small, only a few tables. It was relatively slow when I went but I’m sure it might feel a little crowded when it’s busy. The food is really good. Nice big plates with good portions. Great service. Food looked freshly made. Definitely not sitting under any heat lamps. Will for sure be going back!

12-17-23, just returned from lunch here. The food was AMAZING!!! I had the burrito dos amigos. My friend had 3 enchiladas. A beef, a chicken and a cheese. She was extremely impressed. The salsa had a nice bite. Everything was so fresh. The service was great. I am already looking forward to going back.

Go on a Saturday afternoon! I’m not sure if it’s a different cook on the weekends but Saturdays have never disappointed us. We ordered the carne asada burrito and trio enchiladas. Beans are so good!

WOW! This place was SO GOOD! The food had a lot of great flavor, they have Ranchero beans if you don't like refried, and the plates are huge. Love seeing locally owned places bring it. Will be back!

This place has the best Mexican food in at least Oklahoma City and among the best in the state. Everything tastes fresh and so delicious. I can't reccomend them enough and we will be back.

This place is cozy and the food has a sensational flavor. Did not care for the chips or the salsa but those are freebies. The service was a little lacking for the amount of people in the restaurant however that will not stop us from going back.

I don’t post a lot of reviews on Google. This place is worthy of one. For those who have commented that there is no flavor: either you had a case of Covid, you have bland tastes to begin with and intentionally ordered something without flavor, you have drank too many bottles of hot sauce and burned off your taste buds, or you are just lying 🤷🏻‍♂️. The food is PACKED with flavor. The salsa served with the chips has lots of interesting spices - it’s a bit hotter than I typically like, but the hint of sweetness made up for that. The chips are rich and thick. I had the Trio Enchiladas (chicken, loaded up with chicken) and each sauce was something he king special. My favorite was the salsa verde as it had a special tanginess that enriched it. The weaker of the three was the red sauce, but it was still good. I’ll be back to this gem. I agree with others that this is a hidden treasure for Oklahoma City’s culinary scene. It definitely ranks high among the Mexican restaurants. Give it a try!! - - - - - I went back. Just as wonderful as the previous visit. Had the chimichanga & enchilada combo plate (both chicken). Very nice!!! - - - - - Fourth visit (didn’t have have phone with me for #3, but the tamales are very nice) - the chicken fajita salad is LOADED with tasty chicken. Highly recommend it to all salad lovers. - - - - - Ok, so I’m clearly a fan. Fifth visit. Tonight’s special feature was the Burrito Dos Amigos - a large burrito split in two. Half filled with their Chili Verde pork mix and the other half filled with their Chili Colorado beef mix. Such a savory blessing to the taste buds. - and their margaritas are wonderful!

If you're upset they charge extra for cheese(like every other restraunt in business) or think you're ignored cause you're female, then this isn't the place for you. Portions and plating were amazing, food had good flavor, and was served in a timely manner. No issues with staff and my tea glass never reached the bottom with a party of 8. Great job guys!

Chips and salsa are pretty good. Chips are a little Thick for my taste, personally I prefer thin and crispy. Servings are good and everything tasted good (well seasoned). I didn't care for the "gamey" taste of the chicken, I preferred the ground beef. The fried ice cream was NOT FRIED at all. It was simply rolled in stale, chewy corn flakes. Good service and good atmosphere.

I saw a new place had opened here and decided to give it a try. They had a bean dip so I had to try it. I was surprised that it was just a side of refried beans with cheese sprinkled on top. Not what I was expecting but the beans were good. I ordered the lunch Chapala burrito which was very large and enjoyed the flavors. The salsa was original with a good flavor to it.

Best shredded beef enchiladas I've ever had in my life. Their salsa will clear your nasal cavity of any obstructions and prepare you for the absolute wonderful experience That is their main course options.

Massive portions that are totally worth it. Food was so good I didnt have to take any home. I got the Carne Asada Quesadilla and we had the Super Nachos for an appetizer.

Don’t skip out on their homemade horchata!!! We got the fajitas and it was so good and fresh. The salsa and cheese (have to purchase) was really good, as well!
