This place is so good! Love it just wish they had a location closer to my house. They are pricey but the amount of food you get is enormous

The employee taking the order was very helpful explaining the menu items. The food was really good. The loaded baked potato and the tacos de trompo are delicious.

I've been wanting to try this spot for at least a year now and I finally did today. LET ME TELL YOU... It did not disappoint. I had 3 tacos and a beer which hit the spot. It's the Southside so you can pretty much get a taco anywhere; however, it's been a long time since I had one as flavorful and with the perfect amount of crunch. If u don't mind paying a tiny extra per taco, then you'll really enjoy these. They have six sauces to choose from as well that vary from mild to having your nose sweat. The beer was Cold which is all u can really ask for. The vibe is nice too, with continuous music playing at a good volume where u can still talk and hear your thoughts. I only had the pleasure of meeting the young lady at the register who was also my server, but she was really nice and attentive. I can't wait to try other things on the menu soon.

The restaurant itself looks very clean. Bar looks like it still needs some work. I really don't get the setup of the place. It seems a little off. I'm not a fan of the tables they're a bit uncomfortable. However, the theme is cute. The service is nice, they're very polite and accommodating. The food is good, and it's a nice presentation. I love their nachos. They're a good size and are enough for 2 people. Their tacos are small but very well packed and have good seasoning in them. They have a lot of sauce options, so thats great! I love a place that gives you a lot of options when it comes to sauces. However, the menu is on the basic side. That's not necessarily a bad thing as long as what you do food wise is not just good but GREAT. Which i would only call this food good, not great. Overall, it's a good place to get a quick bite.

Becoming my go to spot for some delicious tacos when completing work on this side of town. I’ve tried all of them, all delicious. Especially the Al Pastor! And the beer, ice cold! Highly recommend.

Went up to OKC for an overnight trip. First meal in the city were the carne asada tacos here at Trompudo’s. Just so you know, this isn’t the kind of taqueria that you would get plates and sides or appetizers. So no guacamole live or beans and rice or any of that. They’re main focus is great tacos, tortas, burritos, and tostadas. Ambience is welcoming and has a cool vibe to the place. Everything is clean and pleasant. Let me start with the corn tortilla…my goodness, so fresh and so light and delicious. The perfect corn tortilla. The asada was tender, juicy and full of flavor. I had two tacos, I was holding back. After the first bite I wanted to order more. That’s how good these were. I opted to order four more tacos to go for my son who’s in FAA Academy. He enjoyed his two tacos asada and two tacos Al pastor. I forgot to take a photo of his food. Lol it was interesting to watch him eat his tacos. He’s such a picky taco person since he lived in Texas for a long time. He definitely agrees with me that these tacos stand side by side with the best tacos we’ve ever had in Texas. How I would describe them…imagine going to your bestie’s house after school as a teenager, and his mom invited you to eat because she’s teaching his sister Howe to cook and they’re making tacos from scratch. Yeah I know, THAT good. I washed it down with an iced cold jimaica. So red and so Puckery delicious. I haven’t had Jimaica this good since visiting a friend in California who brews her own and served it iced. Yummy. My friend has the torta although I forgot which one he had. His torta had all the filling a taco would have just served in a grilled bun. Picture attached for the drool. Definitely will be coming here every time I go to OKC.

Heard a lot about this place, figured I'd give it a go. Very clean all around, very friendly service. Small and simple menu, but the food is definitely made in a unique way, I've never quite had a quesadilla made like this! The Queso with chorizo in it was very delicious and cheesy. You get 6 different sauces to put on your food for free, the pineapple salsa is my favorite! The prices are fair, more then Taco Bell for sure lol but not by much, nothing was too egregious. I like that the bathroom requires a code because the homeless problem around here is really bad, the bathroom was clean and no one was loitering. This is something to consider in this area, sadly. I'll definitely come back and soon! Overall if you like Mexican made in a unique way with a wide variety of sauces, this is the place!
