Tom Yum Offered a great pick of really good Thai cooking. Volcano Chicken served Thai Style With max spicy was amazing! Perfect blend of Heat with superb taste. I've eaten in Thailand and this reminded me of those times.
If you are looking for american twist on true Thai cooking, and a cook that can take american twist out and cook true to form Thai, then this is the place you should eat at!
I love this place! I am a huge Thai foodie and they rank in the top few in the okc area. Their Tom Kah and chicken satay definitely are delicious!
My husband and I love this place!. My husband and I go to this place regularly and sometimes we go with family and friends. We have never been disappointed! They Pad see ew is absolutely amazing. We've tried it at several different thai retaurants and no one can beat tom yum. My hisband really likes their curry and their gravy noodles. They have good pad thai too. The spring rolls are delicious, as well as the cream corn! And you can't forget the roselle juice, fried bananas, or the thai iced tea!
This is the best around.. This is it. The best I've had in Oklahoma and elsewhere after eating at all six or seven of the Norman places, the OKC Asian district, in Houston, searching all of Arkansas (that was a mistake.), and every time I saw a Thai restaurant. The soups are all delicious. This is probably the best restaurant in the entire area and there are some delicious hidden gems in the Mid-Del area.
The heat levels are varied based on what you tell them. Three stars=9 glasses of delicious, delicious water. Which they will bring and also leave at your table. The service is great.
The buffet has the most actual Thai selection I've seen, but the best food is ordered off of the menu. (side note on the buffet, it's a good starter and shows you various dishes that are all good, and some great.)
On what I've had:
Curries-all good, not my reason for coming.
Tom Yum soup is delicious.
The chicken curry kaksa soup is my favorite. It's a red, creamy spicy soup.
Chile basil noodles are excellent.
Gravy Noodles-decent, but pair it with a spicier dish if you're going to order this. Probably the least flavorful dish I've had here.
The veggie pad thai comes with expensive vegetables that are quite delicious. The chicken and beef are both good as well.
They had one dollar barbeque skewers of meat that tasted good and went with the bowl of soups well.
The volcano chicken was good, but a bit too...kethcupy? If you want good Volcano chicken (or duck) go to Thai Delight in Norman.
Overall everything on the menu here was better here than at Taste of Thai in Midwest City, with the exception of the Chicken Spinach dish in a peanut sauce served at Taste of Thai, is better than the Norman restaurants (all six of them) overall when price and service is included (and probably even when it isn't) and blows the Edmond place completely out of the water. Thus, this is it and what I missed dearly when I was living in Little Rock.
Try the roselle juice (no alcohol served here).
I've been eating here for two years and the food is always awesome! The place is always clean and the staff is friendly.
Great Experience. Wonderful food! Try the Pad See-ewe, you will love it. This is authentic Thai food! The place was so clean and neat. We enjoyed it immensely.
Their lunch buffet is quite good. But they dont seem to put out food quick enough. But If u order, its a bit pricey.
Curry is delicious. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the panang curry with tofu was insane. I'm so happy to have a thai place with great curries near my new house, my finance and I were worried we'd have to make a long trek to satiate our curry cravings.
I'm interested to try them again while the buffet is running.
Good food at great price. I am not an expert in Thai cuisine but this one tasted authentic to me. Friendly staff and excellent selection.
Five-Star Thai Food!. We are regulars at Tom Yum Thai Kitchen for good reason: it is the best Thai food we have found in the metro. We live in Edmond, but it is well worth the 30 minutes drive. The restaurant is neat and clean and is family owned and operated. Excellent service. The curries are authentic (not thickened with artificial thickeners). Don't expect bland; do expect flavor. Great lunch buffet and you can get in and out very quickly. Consistently good food.
Wife and I tried this place for dinner and it was fantastic. Lunch buffet is also fantastic. Good price, incredibly nice people, and it's great if you need a somewhat quick lunch too. Just come in, get your food, sit down, and go pay when you're done.
Best Pad Thai in Midwest City! Eat here often with friends and family, always freindly and polite. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Really delicious and varied Buffett.
Super way to be introduced to Thai food.
It was spiced really well and not super, spicy hot!!!
Owner is really helpful and nice!!!
Amazing food! Authentic! Most attentive service I have had in a long time. We will be back and will definitely recommend!
This place is the GREATEST! I wish it were opened later on the weekends. The food is fantastic and the owners are the absolute best!
Affordable buffet with amazing food! Clean, hot, fresh! Best red curry I've had in this area.
Want better Thai? You may have to travel all the way to Bangkok for that. The lunch buffet is amazing!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the US. Amazing pad Thai and curry. Awesome service.
The food is delicious and the owners are extremely nice! We will go back!
Good food very friendly staff. I would recommend it.
