Review Gogi Go Korean Restaurant - Oklahoma City

I’ve only been once but am looking forward to by second!!! I love the Subway-style build-your-own-as-you-go concept. It really makes it easier to explore this cuisine. I got a regular bowl and it was fairly priced and so. Delicious. The guacamole tasted fresh and the potsticker did too. The inside of the restaurant is super cute too and totally fits the vibe of the area. I love how much local business is supported inside too.

I loved this place. Great concept. Unique for OKC, which is great that it brings more diversity to the food scene. The place was clean. Pretty nice atmosphere. Tad loud for having convos. Staff was pretty good. This place is quick also, which is great. Not typical of Korean food usually. The bowl is quite large also, good portion for the money. Good value in my opinion. The food was awesome. I had the beef bowl. Highly recommend. My only issues were: - they have a giant menu sign when you enter but then when you get down to order, you can’t really look at it, so if you are building a bowl, this is a poor user experience. - the menu has a handful of items that are not obvious on what they are (especially if you are not super familiar with Korean food, which is probably a decent amount of Oklahoma people), not details and no staff pro-actively offered to answer any questions. This is also a poor user experience. If it wasn’t for those issues, I would give this place a 5 Star. Regardless I would recommend this place to anyone. Pro tip: the jalapeño’s are pretty spicy. I would recommend pulling them out before you mix it together and then mix them in as you go to get the right ratio for your comfort level.

My wife and I were looking for a noodle place for lunch, so we stopped off here. I really like the setup inside the business, you can make your own bowls if you know what goes well together or you can pick off of a pre-set menu and add to it. The food was delicious!! The seared pork was incredibly good. I ended up getting the sweet soya sauce and it is a must get. If you are in the area and want a bite to eat you definitely must stop here.

I had the no-gogi go (tofu) bowl, with a base of kimchi fried rice. My toppings where cheese, fried onions, green onions and gogi sauce. It was delicious! My kid liked the japchae noodles. We also tried the kimchi hushpuppies and I really liked those.

Take the Poke Bowl model - swap out raw fish and Hawaiian style toppings for Korean meats and toppings. BOOM. Genius idea executed masterfully. Great storefront, friendly staff, easy ordering to go on GrubHub that is flubbed by most other "build your own" food establishments. ...and the bowls are AMAZING! Spicy pork with kimchi rice and pineapple kimchi was to die for. Regular size is a significant portion. Priced right for the product. Wish I lived here so I could eat it every day!

I have been a wanting to try this place out for a while and finally got a chance to go this week. I loved the food! The build your own bowl option was so good! I loved that it was made while I watched. And it was fun to have different drink and dessert options that you don't see many places in the USA too (or at least in OKC). The atmosphere was good and the staff were great! Overall a fun place to eat and enjoy. Note: do be prepared to walk to it, parking isn't easy to find during the popular times (lunch and the weekend). But well worth the walk.

Gogi Go is such a great concept, and a tremendous addition to Midtown since they opened earlier this year! The beef is so unique with its sweet flavors and tenderness, and the Gogi sauce is delicious and could be used on anything!! Highly recommend!!

Went to their grand opening. Serving style is kind of like chipotle. You order and pay before you sit down. You can order pre designed bowels/burritos or build your own. They have a wide variety of ingredients for a wide variety of taste options. It was very flavorful. The only downside I would say is the price. I got the GOGI GO! BEEF and a side of cucumber kimchi and kimchi and a drink for $22.

Really great selection to fill your bowl with and very healthy. You get one protein and 4 sides. Also, you can get the sauce on the side if you like and they actually have a really great drink selection from authentic Korean drinks like Chilsung to Aloe.

So, I love this place. I get this combo every time and it is delicious every time. Gogi sauce is a treat. My one item that I'm counting a star off for us that they're often understaffed and today the person putting my bowl together repeatedly wiped their hand across their forehead. I was in too much of a rush to get back to work to ask them to restart plus the long line of other customers that I don't want to anger, but this really should be addressed by management for health reasons.

Love this cool joint. The Beef Bulgolgi was really delicious and kimchi fried rice was such a good flavor combination with the pickled onions and that sous vide egg... that sauce though🤤 Get you some, you won't regret it.

You need to Go Git some Gogi Go Pronto! So I was hanging out with a friend and we originally had intentions of going somewhere else. I work close by it though and have heard it's good, and boy is it good. We were liming (e-scootering) past and the aroma coming out the store was so good that we stopped in our tracks, both said "wanna try this place? Smells bomb!" literally everything about the bowl was absolutely delicious I love my spicy chicken, I loved my fried onions, and pickled peppers. they're cooked so well, so delicious, the sesame seeds on top added to nice crunchy taste. My friend got one of the signature bowls, he digged it, he loved every bite of it. The thing I got was a build your own bowl they give you lots of options, kimchi fried rice is a good recommendation really tasty. Their pickled peppers are actually spicy (hallelujah). They also have draft sodas that are just delicious I've described so many things as delicious and it's all true. Decent price point for the portion size you get for each bowl too! must recommend!

Loved the combination and variety if ingredients, however it was reeeeeeeaalllly salty and about 1/3 of the way through I had to stop. Took the rest home to add rice to later. Said "healthy options" but when I was eating it, it didn't feel too healthy 😆 it was so dang good though. Splitting a bowl next time rather than getting my own- they are BIG! The bowl with the samosa is the chicken bowl, the bowl w/ guac is the vegetarian no gogi bowl.

Cannot say enough about this place! The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. They offered useful descriptions of the dishes and samples so that we could make sure we loved what we got. There is so much food in an order, I can't even finish it all in one sitting.. but I want to! I can't stop eating because it's just soooo good.

I am 💯 pleased with this new Korean fusion option. Being half Korean and I make my own Korean food, I tend to be very critical of the “Korean fusion” options. I think this is a great introduction to those that have never tried Korean food and for those Korean foodies, you won’t be disappointed either. I had the spicy chicken bowl and it was delicious! Thank you for coming to OKC!!

Great concept Fast casual Korean. Great Midtown location. Pick your protein. Chicken, beef, pork or tofu topped with crunchy pickled veggies, cabbage and sauce and topped with a nice gooey sous vide egg. (Yes, that is how the white is supposed to look). Served on regular rice, kimchee fried rice or in a burrito. Cool venue. Nice vibe. Try it.

I rate restaurants on 3 criteria: food taste, cleanliness, and service. Gogi is 5 out of 5 on all, easily. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a GREAT fast casual place. Also, I live in close proximity of Gogi and got to know the owners as it was being built - couldn’t ask for a better group of guys.

It is a “must go” place in OKC!!! I guarantee there is no better korean bowl place than gogigo. Try their spicy pork!

Fast-casual Korean that caters to a variety of dietary needs and preferences (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) is a welcome addition to Oklahoma City's culinary offerings. As I wrote in a Yelp review of this place, it's hard to improve on a classic, but somehow Gogi Go does just that, adding modern updates to familiar flavors and textures. I will definitely try to hit this place whenever I'm in Oklahoma City.

Loved the spicy chicken classic bowl. Just enough kick to make it interesting and the kimchi is awesome! Enough food for leftovers!

I had the beef gogi with an egg cracked on top! It was so delicious. The next best part was the pickled onions! We even had left overs for lunch the next day.
