The best tex-mex enchiladas around and I've eaten a lot of tex-mex. Been eating here for over 20 years. They were in a smaller space a couple doors down in the plaza in my first memories of eating here.
Deep South okc hiden jem!! I'm a sucker for fresh tortillas and this place has it!! Fresh flower tortillas and fresh corn tortillas and the food was great!!!
Never had a bad experience, food always hot, & tasty
At least once a month. My wife and I eat here on average at least once a month and we have never had bad service or bad food. I like every dish so far but I really reccomend the Shrimp Avacado Salad, the dressing they put in a bowl for you is amazing plus the shrimp are very large.

Good Enchiladas. I usually pick my Mexican Restaurants depending on what I am wanting, since this is a primarily Tex-Mex place, I go here for the enchiladas which are outstanding. When I have my Tex-Mex this is my place to go. It is $8.99 during the week but $5.99 on Mondays. The service is good, their spicy salsa is decent but not great. They have a white queso now which is very tasty and better than crappy yellow cheese glob you get a most places and they still serve it at Alvarados as well. Service is good, they have homemade flour tortillas and yellow corn tortillas which I really like there. I do like that you have different side options instead of just the standard rice and beans. You can get mashed potatoes, jalapeño rice, mexican rice, borracho beans, an etc. I need to try their other dishes at some point. But for good Tex-Mex Enchiladas, I prefer them over Chelinos, Teds, and etc and it is cheaper and not as crowded.
Very friendly and great food. My friends and I go to Alvarado's quite often. The staff is so friendly, keeps your glass full, and very pleasant. Their special is posted on the wall when you walk in and is always a great deal. We ususally do the special so we can try different things on the menu for a great price. If you haven't been there in a while, give it a try, you won't regret it!
Come here often for the tortilla soup! Decently priced and quite yummy! Plus, I like their salsa.

Wife brought me here for lunch to try. Friendly staff, spacious seating and clean restaurant. The chips were okay, I didn’t care too much for the cheese sauces or the salsa but manageable. Wife had the beef fajitas which she enjoyed and the meat was tender and flavored well. I had the street tacos with whole beans and amazingly grilled corn. The meat was seasoned well and tender with the tacos and beans were good, the corn was outstanding. Overall a good lunch
Very family friendly atmosphere. Kids menu, big portions, delicious food, and the sopapillas are amazing! New alcohol laws so no adult beverages yet, but will be available soon.
Cozy, food was awesome, great price, not to mention our server was the best we've had in a long time! She was running all the tables alone and was still attentive and fast!
Good little restaurant that I didn't know even existed because its tucked away in the shopping center. Good Mexican food for a fair price. The kids menu isn't all that great but if your trying to serve American food in a Mexican restaurant, well, its unlikely it will taste like American food.
Unfortunately, I was that guy with the screaming kid. But the staff were EXTREMELY accommodating in that they simply brought my child a sopaipilla without prompt. Very thoughtful. Food was fantastic, very attentive waiters/waitresses. Will always recommend this place.

I have eaten at this restaurant for the past 15 years and have never been disappointed by service or the food. Always excellent. They have THE BEST chicken tortilla soup that I have ever found. Chile Relleno and quesadillas are quite delicious also.
This place is one of the best quick Mexican food spots in the area. Food is always really good every time I've gone there. Two different kinds of queso, red salsa, and relish all part of the normal setup! Lunch specials are some of the tasties deals on the menu for your mouth and your wallet.
The food is good especially for the price that you pay for it. The service is excellent. You never seem to have to ask for anything because they keep an eye on your table. They never make you feel like you're being hovered over either which was one thing that I really did like. One thing that everyone should try is there sopapillas with brandy. They are to die for! They're not like a normal sopapilla and they are absolutely delicious!!!!!
First time here and my dad and I were very satisfied! Delicious food, excellent service, and seriously good prices for their entrees. Highly recommend 💯
