So happy to have them back. It was a delight to do lunch with my daughter! Will always be a fav of ours. First time trying their vegetarian sandwich and it will be my go to!

Wife and I came in within the closing hour like a couple of jerks. We still got served with a smile, had great conversations, and was served delicious sandwiches. The cheesecakes are mouth watering and the sandwiches are savory. My only regret is that I had never been here before. Looking forward to returning again!

It was really good... I love the price of the pick 2. Job well done. Yes I would recommend especially if u like soups, sandwiches, and salads. I had the garden salad with caesar dressing and the Tortilla soup.

Great food, the bread is sooooo soft and fresh. The meats taste fresh cut. The veggies are all super fresh. It was my first time in, but I know I will be back. Thanks guys for a great lunch!

Fantastic food, I had never been here before and dropped in for dinner. The bread was warm, soft, and the sandwich was full of flavor. I got the classic club and It was amazing!! I will definitely be coming back here. Price was great too, I paid 7 dollars for a drink, chips, and the sandwich.

What a wonderful surprise. The lunch was great.The Soup was perfect the sandwich was made with love. Just don't judge them on the décor . It seems like it just relocated or is just starting out as a small business .It turns out the places has been there for 22 years. Quite popular. Locals love it.

I have passed this place so many times. Decided to try it. I have been missing out on this gem. It is nice and clean. Great I mean great service. The lady working here is super friendly. The food amazing and well priced. I will be coming back very soon.

Food was excellent. I'll be honest, I haven't been in in several years because I no longer live in this area. But picked a friend up for lunch ans brought her here. Service was friendly, but slow. Only 2 people were working. But food was perfect. I understand COVID has these small businesses struggling, but glad I was able to stop in. My friend was limited on her amount if time for lunch, which was the only downfall. We will be back. Might just have to call it in next time.

This is my favorite sandwich shop in South OKC. It is clean, the owners are friendly, and the food is delicious. My favorite is the That’s Italian sandwich and chicken noodle soup. It’s a special treat when they have their homemade cheesecake!

Service is always great and their ingredients are always fresh. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t good. Desserts are great, you can’t beat the cupcakes! I try to come here weekly.

Horrible service!!! Called in today with 3 to go orders and the man who answered was rude. Started off asking him if he could give me a few of the sandwiches they have (since the menu has not been updated) and he stated "we have over 25 sandwiches if you want to know what we have you can go to our website." I then asked him which one of the sandwiches they have have bacon, he told me the 2 they had I let him know I wanted the club sandwich with sun dried tomato bread. He told me "that is not an option it's either white or wheat!" Was a little confused about that as they have had it every time before today. On one of my other orders I had the same type of bread as well so I had to see what they wanted instead and he told me I could hold and slammed the phone down. Once back on the phone I told him she wanted ciabatta bread THEN he tells me that only comes in the big sandwich we can't get a half sandwich since she was getting the pick two. I let him know she wanted to big one, the 6 inch. (Since that is what is stated on the website and in store). He then decides to yell at me and say it doesn't come in a 6 inch it's a square sandwich. I then told him why I stated a 6 inch and he told me he doesn't know this. I told him to go ahead and cancel our order. <br/><br/>My complaint is that we were paying customers, placing a to go order!!! And got treated like this. We used to eat there at least once even twice a week and after today will no longer be giving them our business!!! Sad that such a good business has such a horrible/rude/disrespect employee!!!

Very good! Relatively quick service. Got pick 2 for $6, 1/2 Numero Uno & Chicken Gumbo-great prices for lunch! Will definitely be coming back when I'm on this side of town :)

Great Sandwiches. First time to try, their sandwiches are EXCELLENT! The bread was soft and fresh. <br/>Their soup was just fair (tomato vegetable). <br/>But they could definitely use a hand in the ambiance department: the place was neat and clean but smelled terribly of old grease, the tables were sticky, and they could have used a little music playing.<br/>Will try again but probably just for take-out.

Good Experience!. I stopped by this place totally by accident and it was a very good accident... I enjoyed the fresh-tasting chicken salad on a whole wheat roll, which also tasted fresh. The Chicken Gumbo soup was well crafted, spiced but not overspiced. It was a chilly day, so I was glad for some good, hot, tasty soup and a substantial sandwich at a very reasonable price. The gentleman who waited on me was probably the owner, the place was not busy, but according to my experience, it should have been...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. I purchased small potato soup and accidentally dropped bag handed to me as I turned to head out. While still inside, I turned around and went back to counter to explain to the man behind the counter. While explaining the incident I placed the bag on the counter and took the soup container out so I could reseal it. In doing so I noticed that most of the soup had spilled inside the bag and around the container which I placed on the counter which created a small mess. In an unpleasant and unprofessional manner the male verbally bought to my attention that if I had left soup inside the bag the drops of potato soup would not have spilled on his counter and made a mess. He angrily handed me a napkin for me to clean. After the cleanup he inquired if I wanted another soup I stated "yes" thinking he meant a replacement. In an inconsiderate manner he stated, " that will be $2.70." Surprisingly I stated, " you're going to charge me again?" He uttered, "you dropped it!" I replied most vendors will give you a replacement without charge especially since it spilled inside the establishment. Upset with his attitude and horrid customer service I asked for my soup and he gladly pulled the "dirty soup container out of his trash can" and handed me the barely filled unclean soup container without placing in a bag with a smirk on his face. He caused my blood sugar and pressure to go way up over the treatment I received. Apparently this man might have had an issue with my race, gender or taking advantage of my senior age which in my opinion was not worth quarreling over $2.70. No wonder no one else was eating in his establishment since they have had new management!!! 9/2014

TERRIBLE. I ordered their 1/2 sandwich and small salad lunch. The sandwich was one thin slice of ham folded in half with a tiny piece of cheese in between, on a wheat roll. At first when I looked at it I thought they had forgotten to put the ham in the sandwich. It was tasteless and overpriced. I would not go there again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I also looked at the ice cream in their cooler and it does not appear to be frozen (I would be afraid to eat it).

Great lunch. I got off my plane and had a craving for good, hot soup. I located Pickerman's and it was just a short drive over there. It's a nice, clean, friendly place. I had the chicken noodle soup, which was delicious--home made--and piping hot the way I like it. I also had a half of ham & swiss sandwich which was very good. I really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. They have several soups to choose from and there's also an ice cream counter if you have room for dessert when you're finished.

Love this place! Food is always hot and fresh, with prompt and friendly service. I eat lunch there at least once a week.

Great for Lunch!. Love the Club with Peppered Bacon. Soups are good too.

I stopped by today for lunch. The service was great and the sandwich was very good. I will go back again.

Guh-ross!. This was one of the few places that I have EVER eaten where I thought the food was so gross - so bland and nasty -- that I literally threw it in the trash and left.<br/><br/>"Service" consisted of waiting on the guy to get up from his own food and come to the ordering window. He grouchily took our order and brought it out to us.<br/><br/>This place reminds me of a small-town restaurant that has just opened. They had a broken 14" old-style TV in the corner that was making an atrocious buzzing popping noise. They had kitchen equipment out in the area where customers sit. The tables, chairs all look dirty and used.<br/><br/>Worst of all, the sandwich I ordered (turkey) was seriously gross.<br/><br/>Please don't waste your calories and dollars here.

Very good local place. The salads here are outstanding!! The lettuce and everything is VERY fresh. I've had them many times and every single time it is this way, very fresh...and dressing is very good too. Absolutely my favorite greek salad here, better than Panera or any others. <br/>Most of the soups are really good. The tomato basil is probably my favorite. Tomato vegetable is another good one. I will say the broccoli cheese is not real great though, Panera's is definitely better.<br/>I have only had one or two of the sandwiches and they were just ok - not bad, not great - just a decent sandwich.<br/>I have never tried the ice cream so I can't comment on that.<br/>The owners run the place and they are very friendly. My husband and I come in often and they recognize us now. That's nice to have in this area of fast food joints.

Small portions and bland. I was really looking forward to trying this place. The staff was very friendly. The food was not very exciting. It was small and bland.

Cheer's for pickerman. On my home i have looked to the corner of 89th and penn and said i need to stop in and try that place. i have passed by for 6 months now and today i finally stopped in and boy am i glad i did. i had a combination half sandwich and salad. the sandwich cleverly named now that's italian, was great. very few place offer prosscuto and i was delighted to see the pepers were fresh as the bread, the bread tasted fresh baked not sure on that but it was excellent. the salad was simple yet, the best i have had in a long time try the rialto if you stop in. i like the atmosphere seemed like it was a family run opperation the service was good real laid back just like i like it. if you have passed that coner thinking i need to stop in there sometime make some time and do it soon!!!

Friendly place. When I first entered as a first timer I was greeted very happily , the owner i'm assuming is very nice. I ordered the pick 2 and so did my boyfriend. I got a tomato basil soup and tuna salad sandwich. My boyfriend got the roast beef and broccoli and cheese soup. Both soups were tasty and my tuna sandwich was good. Only complaint was the roast beef only had a single slice in it (no joke). It wasn't very thick either or big, i'm sure they could have used atleast 2 slices. Sandwich portion for the pick 2 is small as well. I will be back though to try a full sandwich to see how good it is and be back for more good soup since the cold weather is coming.

Awesome place! Super clean and all the ingredients are fresh. Must try the numero uno and ask for the ciabatta bread. Also, their ice cream is made on site and is the best in town.

Excellent Deli and Ice Cream Parlor. How many times have I driven by this place and wondered if they were any good. Now I know - and I really like it. Very fresh bread (white, wheat or sundried tomatoe), all the meats and veggies were crispy, fresh and tasty, the salads too. All 4 at my table were very pleased with both the service and the food. We were headed out the door and noticed the ice cream counter - lo and behold - the owner/operators (husband and wife) make not only the roughly dozen delicious flavors of ice cream, but they also make the waffle cones! What a treat! This little place on the south-east corner of SW 89 and Penn is a KEEPER!

Stopped in with my family...our sandwiches were really good. The kids meal was huge! Staff was very friendly. I'll definitely come here again when I'm on this side of town.

Better than anticipated.. Damn good sandwiches. Their Italian sandwich (called the Numero Uno, I think) is my favorite in the city. It's the dressing. Don't get me wrong, the bread and all the other ingredients are good as well, but that dressing they put on their sandwich is supreme. The soups are a little on the meh side. This place is definitely on the pricier side. But that's okay. It's a Ma and Pa operation, with the owners (husband and wife) either taking the order or cooking (or usually both). And they really are as friendly a folk as I've encountered anywhere in this city. My mom was a regular here when she lived on this side of town and they still ask me about her. After two years! I'll gladly pay them extra money. They told me they miss my mom!

Nice little place. Our family was told by a friend about this place, so we thought we would try it out since we live around the corner. We now go there once a week or so. The couple that runs the place are extremely nice along with the other guy that works there. The food is always fresh and the service has always been great. We have been there at least 10 times now, never had a problem what so ever. The only down side is that the selection is fairly small considering we eat there as often as we do.

An excellent little sandwitch shop with a very nice staff. You can phone your order in ahead of time & they'll have it waiting on you when you arrive. Good quality food and a clean establishment.
