I love Tacos San Pedro. I've been eating here regularly since probably 1993 when I turned 16. I used to work in Tulsa and regularly ate at the one there as well.
Laura K.
The fact that this place has not changed inside or outside in the past decade is amazing. Prices are reasonable . My favorite is the nachos hands down.. very clean. The home made salsa is very but get there early for it bc they do run out.

... I've been enjoying TSP since they 1st opened up over on Penn & have been with em since. Have seen not only the biz grow but the family 2. The food has just gotten better with the times. They'll specially make just about anything U want, if U ask the right way. A Carnita Burrito with everyting on it & Jalapeño Tornados us 2 just about die 4. Carne Asada Nacho with everything extra Cheese 🧀. Now my mouth is a watering. Can't go wrong with a couple of Pastor Tacos either. Delicioso 😋

If you want to consistently good Street style Mexican food this is the place to go always going to be good and if you don't speak Spanish that got you the tacos de asada are always good and the horchata is always fresh and good give him a try he won't regret it

One of my go to's for El Pastor Street tacos ( Their legit). Chicken burritos are awesome to, lots of chicken and saucy. Good hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Go there 2-3 times a week.
Joey Rose
Great place that's been around since 1985. I love the tacos and the Asada Torta. The burritos are pretty big too!
Carnie Bond
The last time I ate here was 11 years ago and the food and drinks are still tasty.
Christine Quach
It was my first time here and I got these two gorditas, two carne asada tacos and a horchata! The Gorditas were huge! The chicken is my favorite one! The horchata was really good and who can hate tacos?!
Vix Huda
I come here every two weeks for a wet burrito with avacado and no beans and its absalutely amazing. I recommend it to all my friends, also they carry a decently large selection of bottled sodas which I very much appreciate. The staff is wonderful,
Luz Flores
My go to Mexican restaurant here in the city! A plus is I went to high school with the owners daughter . Sweetest family !
Pablo Spencer
Not only do they have really good grub but they also have fruit smoothies and shakes. I got the "limpiador" because I'm trying to lose weight and friend suggested it. Great prices. Great staff. Highly recommend you try everything on menu twice 😉
Mike
This is some of the best food I have ever tasted. The food is simple and delicious, you can taste every flavor. And the drinks are awesome too.
David Hernandez
Amazing place and food, they have good coke here. ❤️ Coca Cola
Christina Moreno
I love this place! The food is fantastic and the staff is always so nice. I'd recommend to anyone that want good food for a good price.
Kenneth Rodriguez
I like the food BUT I am never going there again I've found hair in my food so many times already it's so nasty wear some hair nets you nasty ass people.....
Tim Newman
love the food here. worth the drive to me to get my carne asada barrito fix
Kevin Sendall
Called in a pick up order 15 minutes before arrival because I only have 30 minutes for lunch. I arrived and paid for the food but they never completed the order. I waited 20 minutes at the restaurant and still never got my food! Wasted my entire lunch and never got to eat. This place needs to get their act together. I won't be back, because there are many options for Mexican food nearby. Don't call in an order to Tacos San Pedro.
Toni Fackler Knight
I love this place and miss it. My Sunday morning breakfast place for 8 months. Wish they sold beer, specifically Mexican beer!!!!
James Bubba Brand
Love this place.....best mexican food around..love the tortas and flautas..
Kayla Love
Very friendly staff and great service. Very prepared for the large class we had in today. Food is fresh and delicious as well!
Dania Viesca Borunda
Delicious food and house-made salsas! I have Celiac disease and am pretty sensitive to wheat and have never had any problems with any of the meats, that are safely seasoned on site, nachos, salad, rice and beans. The Tamarind, Horchata, and Melon drinks are delicious and gluten free too. Very clean and excellent service!
Jessica Szabo
I love this place!! I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Even my picky kids love their food!!
Linda Mares
Always on point! Absolutely love the food and atmosphere
Nallely Gonzalez
The food was not good and the people 2 ever time i have gone. My mom like it but me and father and son did not sorry I go caz of my mom but hate it
Amy Bailey Williams
CLEAN as a whistle. Never in my life have I seen any food service employee scrub and detail the table and chairs with hot, sudsy water. This place is so delicious and sparkling clean! A+
Brandi Mitchell
I came here last week on a whim and was so impressed with everything I ate. The chorizo and egg burrito was amazing and I also had some great chicken nachos with queso fresco. Hands down the best Mexican food in the city!
Steven O'Hara
Will not disappoint! I haven't had better in this country.
Rpetchprom
The food is great. Service is too. Fast. But the flan leaves a lot to be desired. They charge $3.25 for a cup of flan. On tasting it seemed too bland and watered down. Too high a price for something that is not real flan. We know flan. We’ve eaten it in many other places and paid less. This was the only disappointing food item at this place. I hope they read this and fix the problem.
Alyssa Garcia
A friend of mine told me about this place. My fiancé and I love eating Mexican street tacos so decided to give it a try. It was horrible! The meat was unidentifiable, it had chunks of fat and nerve hardly any real meat. We paid $14 each for 6 tacos and only ate 2 of them. Asada meat means grilled meat and their meat is in no way grilled and it was not actual meat. Worst experience ever! I've seen places these buy meat and ask for the cuts from the cow that no body else buys in order to save money. Disgusting! Never again.
Kyle Cooper
This place is Very good & has authentic taste. Carne Asada, & tacos you can't go wrong. Their ingredients, vegetables, salsa are wonderful. If you like homemade authentic Mexican food this is it.
Kevin Sendall
Called in an order 15 minutes before arrival, arrived and paid for the food and waited 20 minutes more and never received my food or an explanation why they didn't fill my order. I had to request a refund, because I only had 30 minutes for lunch and received a half-hearted sorry from the cashier. Do NOT call in a take out order to Tacos San Pedro! They can't keep them straight.
Sarah Schultz
Authentic and delicious. Will definitely be back soon. I had a chicken taco and a Carne Asada taco. I just ran out of the extra salsa I took home. I can't wait to go back.
Nigel Bunshaft
Ordered the Plato De Carne which consisted of Carne Asada, rice, beans, a small green plated salad, avacado slices, grilled onions, tomato slices, and an assortment of corn and flour tortillas.

The rice was flavorful, light, and fluffy.

The beans were seasoned well and very tasty.

The star was the Carne Asada. It was prepared beautifully. Perfectly done with excellent flavor and texture. Not too dry and certainly not swimming in anything

Service was quick and efficient. You order at the counter, select a table and they bring the food to you. It does take time to prepare your order but not too much time.

I expect to return and try some of their other items.
Charlotte Gargis
Quesadilla Carne Asada. Bueno!!!

-----10 May, 2015-----

Wet Burrito. Amazing!

Best burrito ever. A buddy of mine took me here because of the awesome burritos. It rocks California style Mexican
Paul Pendergraft
I live in S. Okc and have tried them all, Tacos San Pedro is simply the best. Try the marinated pork tacos, they are excellent.
Winstonyanes
Best Mexican Food in OKC. I love there Gorditas with the Al Pastor (seasoned meat) and Carnita Meat (Pork). I have tried Enchiladas in just about every Mexican restaurant and they are bland BUT the Enchiladas here at Taco San Pedro are the far best I have ever had. Better than my momas. The tacos are great too and the Caldo de pollo (Mexican Chicken Soup)is awesome.
Cabot
Great authentic Mexican food, clean settings and fantastic staff! I had to try the tacos as recommended, one each beef, pork and chicken. I'd say its a toss up between beef and pork for my favorite but chicken was a close second. Mixed meat nachos were delicious. Next time in town, and with more time available, I'll try something different. Reasonable prices also, bad part of town = good food!
Jaime Usry
I stopped in on a whim and got two pork tacos and by far the best tacos I've ever had!! This place was very clean the people were very nice and it's a homerun this is the first review of ever written that's how good these tacos are! I can't wait to bring my family out to try the rest of the menu they have a sauce that is to die for.
Bruce Hall
Used to be a hidden gem!. Best Mexican Food for the price. Its never been just ok. Every dish I have ordered has been stunning and the real deal. The staff is great and pleasant like they actually enjoy being there.
Jonjo1391
Just Me. Authentic as you can get. I've always gotten consistent quality. They’re are keeping it real on the Southside.

Semper Fi

Excellent Sunday lunch! Our table ordered enchiladas, tacos, tamales, a burrito and fries and all was excellent! Reminds me of the taco places by the ocean in Cozumel. Just classic real Mexican food on Southside OKC!
Mami Deliciosa
Good authentic Mexican food. The lengua (tongue) is very good. I've never liked it until I had it at this place. The Al Pastor is really good. The [diced] carne asada is not cooked the way it's supposed to be for asada. But I give it a 8 out of 10.
Stephanie J.
The best food in the world!!! I can't enough about it. Great food and the staff is awesome. The owner is so sweet always nice!! I have been eating there for over 20 years and it just gets better and better!!!
Barbara Morales
Won't go back. Have been a loyal customer for years but recently any special request I make on my order is ignored. When I bring this to their attention little or no concern is given to make the order right. The last time I ordered there I got a melon drink and an hour after I got home it had already gone bad. This place has gone downhill in the last year.
Beca
Meh... its not as good as all they reviews make it out to be..the taco truck on 44th and may is way better.
Me_gusta_comida
Muy rico. I love their asada in torta form in taco form welll.....in any form. It is super authentic and always delicioso!
Michele
Made a special trip there because of the excellent reviews but was disappointed. Ordered the beef huaraches and thought it was very bland. Also thought the meat had a slightly "off" taste. The beef soft taco was better but was still very bland. I would be willing to try it again perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing.
Veronica Nicole Fennell
One of the best inside authentic taco trucks ive ever been to. Order and pick up your food at the front, plastic silverware, real Mexican taste. Plenty of friendly service and food for your money. Will be going back.
R Williams
Best Mexican food in Oklahoma. Very authentic, like you are actually eating in Mexico. Not Tex-Mex, so don't expect fajitas or chimichangas. Recommended items: Wet burrito, Baja fish tacos, flautas, carne Asada, enchiladas, pretty much everything on the menu.
Kevin Myers
Always Stellar. I have been going to Tacos San Pedro for years. Sergio, the owner is a great guy and his place, the first taqueria in Oklahoma City have been open for around 20 years. Got the sopes last night and they were delicious as usual. I have always been puzzled as to why the carne asada is shredded and instead of diced. Definitely it seems that my favorite meat at Tacos San Pedro now are the carnitas. The carnitas are tasty. The green and red salsas are always delicious along with the pickled jalapeños and carrots. It is definitely hard to go wrong at San Pedros for a taco fix. The fish tacos have always been good and the menudo spicy as well.
Steve
Best Authentic Mexican. So this is the best authentic Mexican food in the OKC area. Everything I have had is very good and fresh. This is a great place for lunch.
Veggie Fiend
Always friendly service with delicious, authentic Mexican foods.
Shelby
BLAND. If authentic means bland this place sure is authentic!!!! We went because of the 95% rating and outstanding reviews, and the food was greasy and bland. I have had much better mexican food from Taquiero El Dolar right down the street. Ill be sticking to our favorite little taco truck for my Mexican food cravings because Tacos San Pedro left me completely unsatisfied!!
Ryan W.
Great food. Great service. New baja tacos are amazing. This is real authentic Mexican food.
Nicole Handy
Best Tacos al Pastor in OKC. Green burrito was OUTSTANDING! If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place.
Dan
Excellence... Awesome food, doesnt get any better than this. Love this place, its been great for a looooooong time!
Mainstang
Some the best tacos around. Their pastor taco are hands down better than big truck, and with the low price what's not to love!
Alisha Davidson
Excellent Authentic Mexican Food. Our family recommends the flautas, burritos, carne asada tacos and mexican popsicles. Haven't tried anything else because we can't get past these favorites!
Ashley
Love love this place!! The green salsa and chips are wonderful, as well as the homemade relish, chicken salad, tortas, and everything else we have tried!! The food is always fresh, the service is great and super affordable!!
Mary
Great food. This my friend Mike and I best place to eat on the southside. We travel from Moore at lunch time just to have a good meal at a prize that will not empty the wallet. My favorite are the flautas, they are good the sauce is great. Mike's favorite is the beef tocos. We will keep coming back any chance we have. Come and have a good meal you will not regret it and the staff are great people. Mary

SHORT & SWEET. Terrible neighborhood.
Wonderful food.

Mediocre service.
Wonderful food.

Often crowded parking lot. (Actually a good sign.)
Wonderful food.

There -- have I been succinct enough?
JD Ward
Good Food. It's not a fancy place, but it is clean. My beef torta and lengua taco were very good. I still prefer Big Truck, however. The service was definitely lacking.
Terry F Jackson
Staff was friendly, place was clean and nice! Nachos were good, enchiladas were better, n I liked the pulled pork tacos!
K. Mennem
Good Tortas. Good tortas and nachos. But why do they not serve beer???
MagzOK
Authentic. Wow, this place blows me away with each visit. Tacos, burritos, tortas, everything on the menu is just awesome. This is the kind of food I grew up on in West Texas!

If you like nachos you need to try their supreme nachos. These aren't nachos like at your Tex-Mex gettup, they use white cheese, brisket, peppers, etc. Wow.

I highly, highly recommend this place.
Kirk Hatton
Good authentic Mexican food! Flautas were amazing! Tacos very similar to big truck taco and just as good! Alot to choose from on menu. Clean and staff was very nice
Mrsokcpd
Love it!! Best street tacos around. Yummy yummy. Always busy but quick service whether to go or sitting down. A fave for me and hubby :)
Levi Cox
One of the best. Favorite thing is the flautas.... very tasty & good portion. also they have a great drink made from melon juice which is very quenching & filling! I keep going back as the staff is friendly, the establishment is clean & the food is awesome & fresh.
Sarah
I don't like it, I love it!. I might be a little partial because it's the location of mine and my husband's first date, but I think it's the food that keeps me coming back. The carne asada tortas are always spot on, and the burritos are superb. Don't leave without getting extra green sauce and pickled veggies, b/c the pickled carrots are the best I've ever had. And if you have room for dessert, try any of the ice cream bars. The coconut is my favorite, but the mango and strawberry are good too. And if you are super picky, or prefer tex-mex, you might like the nachos.
Todd R Lutz
Yes.. The food is good, fresh, and plentiful portions.
The prices are very reasonable.
The local color impressive.
Come on Saturday for lunch and you will find some nice homemade dishes not normally available.
Cafe Icon Owner-Manager
Awsome Place for Tacos/Burritos. Taco San Pedro blows big truck tacos out of their little taco shack. Obviously authentic enough to have the majority of their customers Mexican. You will be the minority in this place if you aren't brown, but who cares? You're there for great mexican food. The prices aren't too bad, but definitely well worth it.

I love their steak and hot sauce.
I don't like the menudo; taste too much like intestines. Maybe not clean enough or real mexicans like that flavor. Just not for me.
TheKeef
Amazing, and authentic.. No frills, no bs, just superb Mexican food of all kinds.

Dont go expecting "cheese sauce". Not gonna happen.
This is authentic Mexican street grub.
CASEY
Excellent!. I've been working my way through the menu here for a several years, and have always been very pleased with every bite. Authentic street tacos, actually some of the best in the city. Yummy sauces. Excellent barbacoa and lengua. Inexpensive and totally delicious.
LGF
LGF. Nothing fancy ... but outstanding authentic tacos! Fresh ingredients ... tacos are very simple ... meat of choice, cilantro, onions, salsa ... that is about it. Very tasty and you can easily eat there for less than $10.

After running around for most of the day Tammy and I decided to place a togo order somewhere and eat it at home. This part of the city there was still areas without power due to the recent small tornadoes that clawed through the city. We tried looking at menus Tammy had and then calling several places with no answer before we got to Tacos San Pedro. Tammy wanted a couple of their Asada burritos and I ordered a couple of their Huaraches with no cheese or sour cream. There was a bit of confusion with ordering the huaraches so I was hoping that the order gets made right. We also asked for their green chili sauce as well. The person who placed the order said it will take around ten minutes to make, so I waited a few minutes before heading out to get the food. When I arrived at the restaurant I had to wait a few minutes before my order was ready which I didn’t mind because at least it wasn’t made and sat there w
