This is our go to spot when we're in Bricktown. Friendly service, great margaritas, delicious and reasonably priced food. Are you seeing these lunch fajitas(1)? This is an order for ONE PERSON! The fried fish sandwich with tortilla soup with fresh avocado is the BOMB (2), and how about these delicious quesadillas with black beans and rice (3)? All under $8 for lunch. The ambiance could use some sprucing up (some big plants or maybe ANYTHING that looks like you're in the Yucatan. Be sure and ask the bartender for THE ghost story. The building is haunted! (One of the most haunted buildings in OKC).
The bartenders are top notch. We had an amazing time there. Margaritas were excellent and more reasonably priced than I expected. Shots, shots, shots, great tequila shots, but had too many. Food was really good too. Worth a stop in. Sit at the bar, if you can.
Kyla was the best! Great service and gets nachos I’ve had. Came here with my girlfriend before and now with my best friend. Quality amazing of everything. And she wore deodorant which is nice. No smelly pits with our chips. 💪🏼
Food was delicious! Great atmosphere and nice view of the canal. Lady at the front never greeted us and would hardly speak to us. Will eat there again.
The nachos were fine, nothing special. Drinks were cold service was quick.
A great place to stop in for a snack on a hot afternoon.. drinks ar👌 .. Alona was our bartender and she was great! The atmosphere is definitely somewhere to take friends to hang and have fun, connect. The music is chill! The food is full of flavor! And best place to get flights of agave!!! Please visit!
I have mixed feelings on this place. The service was very good. The people working their are so nice and the food was out very fast. One of my favorite things about Mexican restaurants is the chips and queso. The queso was not very good and the salsa had no heat to it. The chips were pretty good on their own though. The mains had great presentation and the flavors were much better than our queso. The chicken fajitas, cheese enchilada, and the black beans were delicious. The rice was okay and definitely made better by mixing it with the beans. All in all a great experience in Bricktown off the canal.
This is not a full service restaurant. You order your food, get a number and find a seat.
Food was fast and tasted good but the guy wandering around picking up plates needed more training and social skills. We were poked with a finger and asked if we were finished with a plate. He pushed through us as we were standing and talking to friends that had arrived.
I would return but just see if this was just a bad night or standard practice.
This place is a hidden gem. This is so much better than any Mexican restaurant I've been to in the OKC area. Everything is made fresh and it is so good. I personally think the pork is the best on the tacos and burritos, but the shredded beef and tequila lime chicken are also great. The vegetables are my favorite side, they are julienned squash. The guacamole and salsa are also very good!
Drinks are really good, lots of options.
The young girl taking orders is the sweetest girl you’ll encounter in brick town!! She connects so well with others and makes sure every guest feels welcomed!! The margs and food are 10/10, will be recommending others to this cute establishment.
