Alice's Restaurant

Alice’s never fails to deliver an amazing dinner. The atmosphere is so nice and intimate. The staff is always attentive. They have an expansive wine list and the food is always phenomenal. Pictured is their bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. This restaurant is easily me and my fiancé’s favorite date night spot.

First time visiting during lunch, the wait was horrible. I arrived at 11:30 & didn't get my order til 12:30. The menu is limited & it's way overpriced. $8 for a small salad with one chicken strip on it. Wendy's gives you 2.5 times the amount of salad & a greater variety of leafy greens & a bigger piece of chicken. I don't have a complaint about the taste of the food, it's the normal for the average American palate.. But it's not worth waiting an hour for. Pork sandwich comes on a cut piece of bread (if you choose a slice of bread to have it on), it's over fried & too large to be considered a sandwich, comes with a handful of lays style potato chips if you choose "chips" as your side & not in it's own bag. It feels so cheap how it's all executed along with what ingredients are used.. All cups come in styrofoam. The tables were sticky despite being wiped clean. It's an unpleasant feeling. I do however love the pictures varnished into the tables. You're paying for convenience when going to Alice's because of it's location compared to driving several miles out.. The locals advise you to call-in your order. Two starts because the familiar tastes saved it from 1 star.
