I’ve eaten here several times now, and they have my favorite tacos in Oceanside. The restaurant is walking distance from the beach, so it’s perfect if you’re heading to the beach or leaving the beach. They have a great drink selection (with a rooftop bar) as well as surprisingly good dessert options. I highly recommend this place!

We enjoy Hello Betty tremendously! We happened upon this restaurant the first time. We were looking for good fish and chips. Hello Betty delivered and then delivered again! The fish is firm with a crunchy batter that is not greasy or clumpy. It's the way fish and chips should taste! We also tried the shrimp and chips. Same light batter coating that has a great crunch. Both dishes were fantastic flavor! The staff at Hello Betty was friendly and fast. You could tell they enjoyed working at Hello Betty. If you are looking for a great fish and chips, skip the place in Pacific Beach and drive up the coast to Hello Betty. You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is amazing , food and customer service everybody was friendly and helpful especially THOMAS shout out to you ! our waiter I didn't know the bartenders name but He is really good at what He does as I don't drink much and wanted mostly fruity and He created an amazing drink so thank you. We ordered alot of food to have leftovers at the hotel , and because we were curious how great they were because we have read so many great reviews and they didn't fail us. AMAZING food worth the price and the drive. It was a great start to our getaway, handsdown we all thought the BOMB NACHOS were not only THE BOMB but the best thing on the menu aside from the Fish and Chips. Though all the food is good from the tacos to the tuna melt we tried. I definitely recommend this place if you stay in downtown Oceanside or if you want to try a new restaurant by the beach. 🖤

This is near the boardwalk in Oceanside. Mostly tacos and beer. The chowder and a trio of tacos were all fresh. Expansive seating area and does not feel crowded. There is rooftop seating but with only a limited menu up there.

Had a nice Sunday lunch here before going to the beach. Prices are a little high, but expected for being by the beach. They were short staffed so there was a wait even though the restaurant was pretty empty, but the bar area was full. The cocktails were good, but the jalapeño margarita is not actually spicy, so fine if you aren't a spice fan. The ceviche is good and is a white fish ceviche (not shrimp, also not spicy). Tacos were great, would definitely recommend! The chipotle sauce has a kick! The potato taco is a unique option! Guacamole tasted fresh and was good! Service was quick and food came fast. Overall, good experience, but rated 4 stars for prices, wait, and some different flavor expectations.

good happy hour menu. Tried their Mexican shrimp taco with elote cauliflower on it and their chips and salsa. Tons of salsa! Madelin was super friendly and helpful.

If you like Fried Shrimp, I would definitely try theirs. They were huge and delicious. And surprisingly, the Avocado Taco was great too. It was lightly breaded and had delicious sauce. The Chicken Sandwich was wonderful too.
The staff was great and the place is super cute. Definite beach vacation vibes. I can't wait to return. They have a lot of other delicious looking tacos.

We had a happy hour dinner here. Food was fresh, very tasty and well presented. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent. We ate outside and got a glimpse of a beautiful sunset. They had heaters, which made it comfortable to eat outside. First time here and we were very happy with our choice of restaurant.
