A terrific evening
Interesting menu followed by good food.
Wonderful stream and meadow view and the owner, along with a great pianist, sings soft ballads during dinner on Thursdays.
This is a must visit for us when we are staying at our lake cottage.
Don't miss this restaurant.

The food was excellent. The Crab Cakes came with sauces that beautifully complimented the crab. The Swiss chard was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great menu, in. Rustic setting. A great find! One of the best restaurants in Central Maine.

Great Place - wish it had been a nicer day. Had an early lunch in late October. Food was excellent and very diverse and eclectic menu. I had a pastrami sandwich that was very good. Service was good, prices OK. Ambience was superb. Wood planked interior nicely decorated and very bright and lively and has that new lumber smell. Unfortunately it was a misty day so what is normally a stunning view of the "River" with fall foliage was a bit subdued.
