Quarter Pound Giant Burger

I have always loved this place, I haven't been in years. I grew up going to the one around 48th and San Pablo in the Emeryville/Oakland area, but it's been closed for years. It was a great place for lunch or dinner as a kid and an even better place as a young adult late night after a night of drinking, except for the one night it got robbed and I had a shotgun stuck in my face. But, that's living in Oakland, especially in the early/mid 90's. So, I came upon this one on accident as I was visiting clients in East Oakland so I had to pull over. I had a double cheeseburger with fries and everything is the way I remembered it. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the onions were grilled perfectly, that and the condiments all worked so well together. The fries were hot and crispy, really some of the best fries out there. The two young ladies running the joint were great to talk to. Very friendly and hopefully new clients as well. This will be on the list of stops whenever I'm in the area.
