Continental Club

I was here for the first time for Oakland for All and was really impressed by the venue. First, it’s really well decorated so make sure to walk around everywhere because each area is different and so cute! Also, it’s a really big space with multiple bars on each floor meaning the service is really quick. The bartenders at all the bars I went to were very friendly and not in such a rush. I was really happy to see that there were very visible security guards inside the venue and they took security seriously when entering. I love that security was clearly a priority here! Love this place.

LOVE this space! This truly historic spot has had a flawless rennovation and has been brought back to lift. Besides the gorgeous space, the drinks were delicious, food was fantastic (the truffle fries are amazing), and loved the Wednesday night jazz. So stoked to finally have amazing food and live music in West Oakland. Will be here all the time.

Great new place! Owner, managers, and staff are friendly, drinks are good, and the food (poboys) is solid. Interior decor is refined and swanky. One cocktail (Henney I'm Home) even comes with gold leaf on top. Looking forward to catching shows here! As a heads up, the large covered entrance with the box office and gates is only open when there is a large event on the main stage. Otherwise, the bar-only mode is accessed via the smaller door on the right. This can make it look closed, but if the sign is on, they're open. Note: Ignore any reviews prior to 2022. The interior has been fully renovated and is an entirely new business operating under the original name of this historic venue.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My first time ever attending an event here recent, and to my surprise my personal belongings got stolen, the next day I called and let them know what happened but they said they wouldn't even take the time to look at the camera footage. I would say just be on the look out for thieves at this establishment if you go!!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

This place is a historic black neighborhood. Some friends who put on an event here had a bad experience with the owner. Multiple bad experiences were had here. It’s unfortunate because we were all Excited about this place finally being here and open but the experiences a few of my friends had is very off putting.
