Always greeted with a smile. Feels like family. We love the fish sandwich and they cook the fries the way we like them. I always let anyone I know, know about them and I even go as far as giving the the address and phone number. The food is consitant ever time we go we know what we are going to get and taste.

OB's is one of Oakland's last best kept secrets. Mainly Southern cuisine, but the big guy behind the counter can pretty much whip up anything you want. The Charleston is a winner. I'd never had smothered potatoes -- let me tell you, my taste buds were smothered. Finally, if you don't want to break the bank, try the Monte Cristo Sandwich, which is just excellent. Warning: you are there for the food, show respect and respect will be shown. It's a one man show, but one you will want to keep coming back to.
