Euromix Deli

My 5 Star rating is well deserved due to the cleaniness of the store, so well-stocked with a variety of food and drink items that are hard, if not impossible to find elsewhere in Oakland. I realized during my visit this past week that it has been at least four years, perhaps five since I last shopped there. I was looking forward to seeing the two very friendly Russian ladies who owned the store again. Though I was sad to learn that they had sold the store four years ago, it was a pleasure for me to meet the new owner. He is very friendly also and very helpful. I told him how I love Piroshkis. His store was the place I could count on for having a good supply of fresh Paramount Piroshkis. When Safeway started offering Piroshskis it was more convenient for me to purchase them there. Now that they are no longer selling these, I will be returning to Euromix Deli regularly for my favorite Beef and Mushroom Piroshskis, which Safeway never sold. I am so glad that this store is still in business after the long two years of the Pandemic during which we lost many small neighborhood stores with friendly owners.

Great selection of east European treats of various kinds, cheese, cookies, snacks, soft drinks. Can keep trying different things each visit

Great shop with a wide variety of items. Was in a bit of a hurry so I couldn't take it all in. I asked about a specific candy that some Russian friends recommended and the helpful clerk knew exactly what I was looking for. They were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. So glad I found these locally and didn't have to go through Amazon to get them. I'll definitely be back to try other things.
