awesome bar with great service and collection of fine bourbons. I heard the food is good too - which can't wait to try. the cocktails are among the best in East Bay and rivals to some of the better bars in S.F. - at considerably lower price. nice addition to Oakland. A must try.
Great new addition to Temescal. Warm atmosphere, super welcoming and hospitable staff, excellent cocktails and really solid food.
On the food front, I've had the burger, which was delicious. Also being from Maine, I was curious to see if the lobster roll was good and it was amazing.
On cocktails, one of my favorite cocktails is the Vieux Carré, which I was hesitant about ordering since I didn't want to be that guy who asks for a somewhat-obscure cocktail that isn't on the menu. The bartender cheerily replied that he could make it, and it was delicious. They also made me one of the owner's favorites, called the Fourth Regiment, which was like a sazerac with celery bitters, also not on the menu.
I highly recommend Grange Hall! Welcome to the neighborhood.
Delish breakfast sandwhiches, plus french toast bites. Yummy Hot Toddys on a cold cold Sunday. Well stocked bar and creative cocktails. Relaxed vibe (not fancy but warm and pleasant). 5 seat bar plus a dozen tables. Watched the Raiders while having a late brunch.
Great cocktails, fancy but chill vibe, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The food feels like it is trying too hard and is a little overpriced though
Cool ambiance, great happy hour drinks, good overall cocktails and nice people. The burger pop up is well priced and good selection as well.
Great cocktails and a nice neighborhood vibe. The restaurant situation always seems to be changing however, so it has been a different cuisine every time
