This place continues to be one of the best value banh mi places in the Bay Area. They also have other food like chow fun, fried rice, chicken leg and more. Portions continue to be fair with lots of meat in the middle. Prices have climbed a little because of inflation but that makes sense.
Ordering starts in a line along the counter. Usually pretty organized. Parking is okay.

50 cents for extra mayo?!?!!?
I haven’t been here for a good few years but mostly the same it seems. But I def did a double take on that extra mayo cost when I saw it on their menu board.
Still has solid Vietnamese sandwiches.

This is the best place ever. Food is incredible. Served deli style, I always get a tofu sandwich and a small side of noodles, for under seven dollars. Same family has worked behind the counter for the ten years I've been coming here. Love love love.

Love this place. No more need be said. I use it to reward myself to go to the dentist next door and it's almost worth it which is saying something given my fear of the dentist.(who is also very nice and really couldn't be better shout out hp dental)

So good. Pick a random selection from the dishes out on the table and you won't be disappointed. Banh Mi are also, in my opinion, best in the bay.

Went on Vietnamese New Year day, the place was packed, wait over 22mins for our noodle soup. Complaint to lady boss (Lily) all she said, we backlog nothing else, she didn't go check the kitchen and told us to wait. If I didn't have to pay upfront first, I've would already left restaurant.

Mediocre food, dirty tables that they don't care to wipe even if there is plenty of time, and the service isn't anything to write home about -- they can't even say thank you nor smile. Pho Dac Biet consisted of super tough rare steak, beef balls and tiny pieces of tendons that were super tough. I chose this place because they had lotus salad, but that wasn't very good either. They are really inexpensive, however, so if you are on budget it may be a good spot.
