Zella's Soulful Kitchen

We just had Zella’s cater our 30 person backyard wedding and omg the food and service were amazing!! They had excellent communication leading up to event & everything was perfectly delivered on time. We got their pomegranate salad, cornbread & biscuits, Mac & cheese, collared greens, cauliflower, fried chicken, blackened salmon & amazing desserts - banana pudding & brownies & bars. I loved all the food sooooo much! The Mac & cheese & fried chicken were huge crowd pleasers! Everyone complimented how delicious the food was and the portions were huge! We are still eating leftovers & loving it! Thank you so much for making our wedding so magical!!!

Found this place by accident... But as soon as I saw they had a short rib sandwich, I had to try it. They do not disappoint! The meat was incredibly tender and we'll seasoned. Quicker than going to McDonald's, and definitely better quality! Probably healthier too. I browsed the store a little bit, and was pleased not only with healthy selections but with decent prices for the area. Not often that I can find Bragg's Apple cider vinegar drinks! Definitely 5 stars, definitely will return!!!

This place is inside a grocery co--op store, so it is a carry out. We drove half an hour to try the breakfast biscuits that had rave reviews. The reviews did not lie!. Breakfast biscuits come with egg and cheese, with an option for bacon or sausage too. They are huge, heavy and delicious!! We buy Starbucks breakfast sandwiches frequently, and these are double the size of those, for only a buck or so more. So worth it!

Excellent customer service. Great tuna salad with capers, a yummy gourmet peanut butter cookie — just delicious! Also, a fruit cup that was tasty!! Highly recommend when traveling on BoltBus which I boarded just across the street near West Oakland BART! Or anytime you’re in the neighborhood! Cheers
