Tamales Unicos De Cuernavaca

I had family buy some tamales , cause I've been there before , they got large tamales compared to others. The masa is good , the beef tamales are Hella good as well. BUT the pork tamales . I ain't a person to complain about food unless it need to be expressed ; I took a bite of the pork tamale , it had a weird taste to it. I took a bite of the meat without the masa, & it tasted somewhat like the smell of a permanent marker. Idk what it was , maybe the meat was spoiled , maybe something in the sauce. But I couldn't finish the tamale. It is a great place quick n easy. It could've been a mistake or accident. But next time I will order just one pork tamale to see if it's all of them or just those two . If ordering my suggestion would be Just Beef. Wish I could've gave 5 stars. Alrato.

Tamales are usually just a winter treat for my family. It's rare to find good tamales that aren't homemade. These are just as good as the ones my mother has been making for years. It's nice that we now have access to this gem all year round. We get a little bit of everything, and the portions are fair for the price. I make sure to have friends and family try these because they are simply the best in the area.
