The atmosphere, the gallery and the coffee was all amazing. This is a must see and experience coffee shop and gallery in Oakland. I definitely recommend checking out this place.

Chill spot, good music, great art and good coffee. I seriously recommend this mom and pop café

While looking for a meeting place, we found this sweet coffee shop located near the 19th St / Oakland Bart station in the Uptown area of Oakland. This coffee shop is spacious and has a sweet art gallery attached. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. There are ample seating and it seems that many from the area frequent this nice coffee shop. Parking seems easy to find and the coffee tasted very good and well done. I would have ordered a pour over but didn’t want to overdo my caffeine intake so opted for a latte. The lattes came out tasty and flavorful. I believe I got a mocha and an oatmeal latte. If you are looking for a place that you can chat or even to study, it seems that many people were doing these two things. I definitely recommend checking out Tertulia!

The mark of a good coffee place it's having cortado. They do have cortado which is ❤️. On top they have some art on the walls (that you can buy). The music is great for conversation or work. It's a nice space. I can't recommend it more!

Large and airy cafe in the heart of Downtown Oakland. Beautiful paintings on the wall give this place a gallery-like feeling. The coffee itself is awesome and in the price range of such hip coffee shops. The only downside is their ridiculously strong AC, which will freeze you to death if you don't have a jacket; also, no wifi.

The space itself is really beautiful. Very open and well designed with plenty of natural lighting. The artwork is beautiful. The baristas are a little snobby, but not as bad as other coffee shops I've been to. Some are friendlier than others. They don't offer wifi so that's annoying. Best if you want to read a book or if you can make your own hotspot (there's a BUNCH whenever I visit). The space is clean - it's nice to be in a place that actually makes an effort to sweep and remove trash. They even clean the restrooms (take that Starbucks with your porta-potty quality restrooms). The baked goods are delicious. The coffee is strong. Prices are a little extra. They're kind to the homeless who wander in - which really impressed me. Most places are terribly rude and nasty. Minus the annoyance of no wifi and feeling "hipster" and slightly pretentious, it's a great space. I've frequented several times and I would recommend to others.

Outlets right next to tables by the windows! Thank you! No nonsense place. Awesome! Plus a great selection of seating; stools at large tables, chairs at smaller tables, and a lovely leather couch in their "living room."

My happy place. Serving Stumptown roasts with drip and pour over offerings. Nitro cold brew available for the hipsters and yuppies. Pastries available. Inviting decor with local art work displayed.

Great space with huge windows that bring in a lot of natural light. The art gallery in the back is way better than a typical coffee shop gallery - they actually sell social justice oriented art by local Oakland artists! Limited options for food and non-coffee items, but it's a great space to work and catch up with friends.

This is a cute spot with a modern chic vibe, nice seating with chairs and couches, and a small contemporary art gallery adjoining. The coffee is great and reasonably priced. Good study and chat spot!
