Great location and some of the most friendly staff. The room could have used more attention to detail in cleaning/ deep clean. However bedding was clean and conformable. With some new furniture, fixtures and a bathroom refresh. This hotel will be one of the cutiest in town. Get the king suite. Worth the upgrade.

I would not recommend this place.
The good:
• Old, unique building
The bad:
• Strange odor throughout the lobby
• 2nd floor corridors smell like stale cigarettes
• Room carpet is noticeably dirty/stained
• Room itself had a smell of urine
• There was a needle in the restroom

The Washington Inn is stylish, and located in a super convenient location, in the heart of KTown. Small, but stylish rooms... with amazing soft window light, and an amazing view of The Hollywood Hills.The valets are super nice and helpful too!

Positive: It was good for the price. My party had two rooms right next to each other. Negative: The hotel has no parking and no warning concerning the need to make arrangements to park somewhere safe and convenient. This made our arrival time very hectic; the staff had suggestions, and tried to help, but it was upsetting and confusing.

Historic hotel. So if your looking for modern it's not here. Came for 1 night and have been for 3 more.
Rooms are not big but the king suite has a separate living room. It is very clean, thank you to housekeeping.
Front desk s helpful and friendly. If ever in Oakland again I will come back.

My stay was cool. Staff was ok. Upscale hotel atmosphere nice updated rooms. Parking was horrible and car break in's everyday/ night. Very cautious about safety of my vehicle, No parking available at hotel nor security which is needed. Don't leave nothing in your car!!

My Chicago Steppin Community rented the space and we had a great afternoon of dancing so I will be looking forward to 4th Sunday afternoon's.

I was here from 2/11/22-2/18/22 this was a historic hotel it was no mini refrigerator or microwave in the room #205 it was no air conditioner it was so hot in the room#205 blood stains on the pillow cases & sheets and burnt holes too they gave me a trash bag to put ice in from there machine that was gross
