What a great place to stop by after a long ride to the East Bay on BART. Arthur Mac's, or Artie's as I like to refer to it has everything a simple man like my self needs. It has beer. And some damn fine local brew to boot, and in this current climate of craft brew offerings, the succeed at a very high level. They have sunshine, with an amazing beer garden you can always sit outside and enjoy a healthy pint. And they have food, if you are going to enjoy a few pints in a beer garden, having top notch snacks is key. Pizza is out of this world.
And if you happen to have kids, it is a great place to bring the rug rats, the beer garden is enclosed and safe from traffic, so your wee ones can run around and be as cute as hell, and it is still safe...
last note, the booths are amazing, built into former shipping containers, and with living walls they create a nice relaxing and beautiful space for you and your pint... or your family...
I have been a handful of times, and will continue to return as much as possible.
Seeing this place evolve from concept, I'm amazed to see what it has become. The intelligent, customer-centric design — from it's atmosphere to it's offerings — is a hallmark of the Farm League Restaurant Group and a welcome addition to this growing neighborhood. I can't wait to go back!
