We had Holy Land cater our wedding (about 40 people). We ordered baked fish, falafel, rice, roasted potatoes and a bunch of salads and sides.
The food was excellent according to all of guests, and given that we were at an outdoor venue with heating candles, it kept hot and kept its taste. We would absolutely cater with Holy Land again. Miri was great to work with, and helped us pick good items for the event.
This is a wonderful restaurant! Miri is so friendly and fabulous to work with. She catered a baby shower for my daughter and we could not have been more pleased! The salads , pita and falafel are fabulous and the mint lemonade is so refreshing!
Best falafel and sabich I've had outside of Israel and the tahini sauce is a classic. Come for the cheap, delicious food, and enjoy the occasionally mediocre service (which normally I find frustrating, but here it works). This hole in the wall is truly holy. 🙌 תודה
So delicious! I've never had anything here that wasn't amazing. The falafel balls are absolutely everything a falafel ball should be! And try the mint lemonade! Yumm!

The best falafel you'll find in the Bay Area! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff makes you feel like you've stepped into their home.
For years this has been my go-to lunch spot to take friends that are visiting from out of town. The falafel is freshly fried and seasoned -- the best in the area IMO. I normally get the falafel plate but can also vouch for the masabaha, combination salad plate, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, pickles...The mejadara isn't my favorite I feel like it needs something seasoning-wise but the rice and lentils are cooked well. I still need to try the sambusek.
Also, the zhoug is fantastic and spicy! Always get extra. It's not listed on the menu. There is also a nice little appetizer plate when you sit down there. I can't remember details since it's been a year without dining in restaurants. Oh and get at least one mint lemonade!
I live nearby and I keep their hummus stocked in my fridge. Miles better than anything in stores and farmers markets.
Delicious food, AMAZING lemonade. Mom and pop feel with friendly service. I got the falafel plate and the falafel were freshly fried, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The lemonade was incredibly refreshing with herbs blended into it. Definitely not your average lemonade!
I've been ordering from this restaurant for 5 years now. The falafel is light, the pita is soft and everything I've tried has been delicious. I love getting an order of the mejadra and Israeli pickles to have the next day for lunch.
